I have the Ace sliders and like them alot. I didnt have an issue with my bolts other than some creeks/groans while I was taking them out

So glad to hear that! Mine are frame mounted, and I love them. Of course, you know my bolt story well... glad yours came out without issues.

thinking about getting these , how was the install? did you go with the frame mounted ones?

As long as you keep everything loose before you torque, then it will go easy. Yes, I did the frame mounted ones.

I have to say though, I seriously love my wife’s 4Runner. She made a great call buying it while I was in Europe for a few months. It has over 9000 (yes) miles on it and feels rock solid. Like the Jeep, it’s one of the few real SUVs left and I appreciate that.
