Howdy folks! Hope all is well for my 2-door brothers and sisters.

Got to do some proper off-roading yesterday. It was.... Wild! With all the rain we have had recently some basic trails were washed out, and the 3-5 rated trails were pretty gnarly with mud.

The plan was to go with a friend who goes all the time and do basics. We met up with some other very experienced local Jeepers, and the guy leading the pack said we would be hitting some “hard but kinda easy trails and nothing you can’t handle” places.

Let me say..... several spots my butt was clenched tight and didn’t relax until I got home! One in particular had a crazy incline over ledges and the ground was slippery mud. One guy needed a pull up and other experience folks took a couple of tries to get up. I made it through on my third try. Afterwards I looked at the map, talked with my friend to confirm and yeah..... that was Carnage Canyon, a 4.

Overall was great fun, few scuffs on fenders and a ton of mud! My Rubicon is stock, everyone with us had lifts and 37’s, and managed to keep up with the big boys. Was told I did really well but honestly I think it’s more of a testament on how capable the Rubicon is at stock.

Awesome!

I really am extremely impressed with what the new machines can do out of the box. And they are comfortable to drive daily? Amazing really.

My last 5 Jeeps were all manuals, ended up getting the auto for my wife (she hated my Jeeps with stick). I actually really like the auto on this one
I went the other way with mine. First stick vehicle. Was a bit rough at the beginning, but aside from resigning myself to a new clutch sooner than usual (not yet of course!), I couldn't be happier. :involve:

That's about average id say. We travel much further. Mostly because we've done all the trails near us a hundred times. Now that we are onsite in Az we have pretty much covered everything within close proximity and will be making longer runs to get to new trails here also.

I have an appointment for 11/14/2018. I think I'm good as well, but will still go in for the pictures and then have a welder review my frame sometime after.

Happy Halloween Billy and Everyone!
How long did it take to hear back from Jeep after the pics were taken? Had my pics taken last week. Thanks
