Noticed today that you can select both a hard top and a soft top on the Jeep Build site. Anyone know if they are they offering dual tops for the 2 doors now? or is this a glitch?
Probably a glitch. When I tried to build a two door, you could select either a soft top or a hard top, not both. With the 4 door its called a dual top option. When I placed an order for a 2019 ten days ago, dual top was not an option for the two door (unless my dealer chose not to tell me, which I highly doubt).

Why would anybody feel the need to post in a Jeep fourm where they’re going over the weekend if it has nothing to do with jeeps this is Not Twitter or Facebook who cares.. Seriously who cares a lot of people are thinking it but I’m saying it. LOL
Who cares?
Most of us care.

This forum was started as a two door build/order forum long before the first JL was ever built. We share the common bond of the waiting and wondering, of false reports the build actually happening as we waited on our orders. We know the brief happiness of being told by FCA that our Jeep was built and scheduled to ship only to be let down later to find it wasn't so. This is something unique to us and something people ordering a JL now will never go through or know now that production is underway. Maybe it should have been named The 2018 pre production 2 DOOR JL build/order forum. Regardless, now that we have our Jeeps many of us see each other as friends who shared something only we can know and so we interact as such and have an interest in each other. We are a great group of people here from all walks of life and we welcome you, but if you really feel as you said perhaps this is not the place for you.
With that being said,
Good Morning to you all and have a great weekend!

Well... it seems my mall crawling days are not at an end, and the NC mountains are on hold... my poor father in law ended up in the hospital last night, bad infection. Good news though, he was in his hospital bed this morning wolfing down bacon and eggs. At least that. Poor guy...this day to day sure interferes with fun sometimes...
Solidaxle, honestly, lighten up, man.
Best wishes for your father in law!

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Thanks for that Fred, nice morning Joe too!
Hopefully us 2019 folks won't have to endure what many of you did, but can we still play in this sandbox?? :)

Welcome those waiting for your 2019's!

Pull up a chair and stay a while.

I do not miss the waiting. Though funny enough even with my Jeep in the garage I'm waiting to drive her. I am still waiting for the paint to finish the dash. I'm calling body shops today to see if I can get some options. I want to do it myself, but I also want it to be done.

lol

Was out just doing my thang yesterday when this fella kept giving me-n-Stormie "the eye"! Couldn't rightly tell if it was the evil eye or not.
I think he may have wanted a ride.

Great to see 2019 Orders. Does anyone have a copy of the VIN they can post ?
I wish "Build a Jeep" would update to 2019. I did read that a factory winch
was an option. Anyone know for sure it is ? 2019 orders please post your
paperwork we all are interested.

Show up to a dealer and tell them you want to order. I placed an order for a 2019 two door Rubicon 10 days ago. Sure, the 2019 prices are different than the 2018s. But if you want an order, contact your dealer. If they say they can't do it, they are either lying or don't know what they are doing.
That is exactly how it happened in 2018. Not all dealers knew or bothered to look up how to order early on. I think I placed my order mid March, about a month before they actually started rolling them out in April. So looks like you found an educated, motivated dealer. Good for you! I’m really looking forward to your first posts! Hoping it won’t take long.

Thanks!
Gators are just part of the landscape around here. They pretty much mind their own business. :camera:
