2 DOOR JL build/order discussions master thread

Confusion reigns... Just got off the phone with the Jeep help line. I only placed the order last Tuesday, the 25th. Was curious if it was in the system. According to the person on the line I already have a VIN and it is scheduled to be delivered to Benica, CA on Oct 17 and from there to the dealer. Double checked the VON and the VIN - How are they going to build it in 16 days? Something doesn't seem right.

Well... the help line has never been helpful. Story changes every time you call.
Nonetheless, having said that, it will be great if the 2019’s will move through at a brisk pace.
The dealer can get some information perhaps. Also I would call the help line again, to see if the story holds.
Btw, I have asked this of the forum before: is the site I am thinking of still not to be named? That would be a good place to follow an order.

OK - have to ask. What's the connection between Unicorns and Jeeps? As I mentioned once before, I've participated in Burning Man a number of years so I've definitely seen some unique unicorns (google Burning Man Unicorns) BTW - pictures NSFW

The salesperson I dealt with says "That seems insanely fast. I will double check tomorrow when I am back at work!"

I live in Golden, where Wranglers run free and seem to be every 3rd vehicle on the road. Yet, I've only seen two other JL's in the wild so far.
