I could not even order as I had to wait to see if I could even fit, 7 month wait and it was close to being a no (I barely squeek into it).
I must have flipped flopped on build options 2 times a week though lol.

Was like waiting for Christmas as a kid, I am glad I held out. Love my toy
Yup, Gary, I remember! Now you’re looking for spiderweb thin seatbelts covers... the search never ends!

I'm hoping that @cedxc2005 can offer some info since he sat in the back of mine for a short jaunt. Maybe he can say whether or not he felt it could be ok for longer or not. Other than that I myself have never even tried my back seat to be honest. It has been out and wrapped up more than it has been installed.
I was too busy taking in the cool Vermont mountain air to think about the seat too much. :giggle:

It's not bad. A bit tight if you're much taller than average. Driver and/or passenger could be nice and move up a little. My mother rode in the back when my parents were here. Get the extra grab handles (they're a Mopar accessory) to give your rear passengers something to...well, grab when they get in and out. I will say that with the seat in and occupied, you have very little cargo space - a cross country road trip with 4 people isn't terribly feasible unless you all keep it to one small duffel each.

I have no quibble with the camaraderie of those purists that love the two door Wrangler...I am also firmly entrenched in that camp! My point is the topic of this thread is "Build/Order Discussions". This thread is far removed from that! A simple name change that better suits what this thread is about will preserve the discussion.
No.

Another good one to know is the Physical Graffiti buildings on St. Marks...if you're a Zeppelin fan. St. Marks Place and First Ave in the East Village.

I say leave this thread title ... leave the thread alone!

But, I think it might be best , if another thread was started say entitled, 2 dr. Coffee Clutch or something, and then all that want to continue the off topic, coffee clutch, cutesy caricature pics, kissy kissy, Good morning and Good Night, etc., (not knocking this) and such posts, can just carry on there.. move forward there in that thread.....

This way, "2 DOOR JL build/order discussions master thread" will once again be a place for perspective JL owner's / new forum member's can come to, to glean info/ learn without having to wade through all the lets call it coffee cup, 8-) camaraderie....

Disclaimer: I am not against or see anything wrong with the camaraderie.. such posts as I mentioned. Would like to see it find a new home though.

I will admit that even myself, as one of the first few to post in this particular thread, feel put out so to speak that the thread has become so diluted, lets say. It is hard ot weed through all the ..............

.
^^^ Exactly...we’ll stated.

I do have a Rubicon. The stock sliders may do but I want something to keep the rocks further away, have a step, and help with the little rocks flug by the tires. I like JCR's sliders in that they have the rock lights built in, but those things are bank. They also require riveting the tub.

I still have not seen offerings from AEV or Metalcloak. I'm in no hurry yet. Still babying the new Jeep. Eventually though, I'll be heading out to tougher trails while I explore.
I don’t have the ones with lights, the other ones, I wouldn’t spend that amount either. Here’s the ones I have.

These require you to remove the rock rail that comes with the Rubi. There’s another brand that will go on, with leaving the stock ones on, Ace’s I,think.

You are correct on the Ace brand. Just bolt on without touching the stock rails.

We do not have to rename this Thread. We all have been here for a long time.
NO need to change this. Why change it anyways ?? We have over 800 pages of
times we should remember. Sure I do not post as much as I did before but I am
here with all of you everyday. Let's get back to our 2 Dr Wrangler state of mind.
I second that, Clif. We have always welcomed new friends. And always been open to new discussions. A new member, just ask, we will get excited with you! Lots of opinions on how to go about it: negotiate, pick, best dealers, you name it!

Yup, Ace. I’m holding off for a few more. But ace would be my choice today. Don’t want to remove the factory rails.

I am with Clif on this one. Someone can start a new thread and call it 2019 JL build. We are here. Threads evolve. I still have the same name I had when I was 10 years old.

What do y'all the best flat fender flares are for the 2dr? Unfortunately no kit for the 2dr jl from bushwacker just yet.

Here’s a copy of the 2019 order guide colors. Clearly this order guide shows Mojito is to be discontinued. LOL or maybe Black or maybe White will be discontinued their on the same list.

Doubtful because Black and White are still in the 2019 FCA paint chip guide and Mojito is no longer. I hope all the speculation about Mojito being discontinued is wrong because I personally love the color.

I don't have the 2019 FCA color guide I saw at the dealer but this video shows what I saw. The video is consistent with what I was told and saw.
