Jus heard someone talk about their 2-door sports car (a BMW roadster). And in my mind I was thinking - no, no, no... this is a real 2-door sports vehicle!!

I’m not saying a nice roadster can’t be cool. If you can’t drive it on dirt roads and if you don’t have room for your gear in the trunk, I don’t really see the sport in it, but hey, to each their own!

Has anyone heard when 2019 order bank opens? or release date?

Have not seen 2019 "Build a Jeep" as of yet. But a 2019 option lists a factory
"Heavy Duty Winch". No cost yet but I would be adding it if available .

2019 Wrangler:

Other upgrades include an 8.4-inch infotainment system, heavy-duty winch, and upgraded exterior and interior lighting for Rubicon- or Sahara-equipped Wranglers.

QUESTION: some time ago, I think on this thread, there was discussion of hardtop noise that I believe had to do with the cover around the drain tube...just beside the front roll bar. Could someone point me to the posts that addressed this?

Finally got my new JL in it's natural state andtook the hardtop off and it’s amazing as always. I built a little rig that will allow me to slide the top off myself. Eventually I’ll close it in so that I’ll have a place to store the back seat and/or the soft top in the winter.

   What do you mean the plastic cover on the hardtop? And do you mean behind the first row seats or second row seats?

   I had that the other day and fiddled with it a bit and now mysteriously it is gone. It is the white plastic trim piece.
