Thank you, Gary. I like this type of modular approach.

I also read on a thread somewhere that there are some good netting solutions to utilize space creatively (e.g. some time of mesh you can install on the ceiling so you can slide backpacks or blankets up there without cluttering the trunk floor).

The back of your Jeep looks perfect - active without being messy! :like:
Thank you. Yes the nets help, but I don't like them hanging from my roof blocking my rear view. I use them to hold bags and stuff to the crate. I'm not to the point of bolting ammo cans on the sides yet. Maybe later. lol

I’m confused, they are right on their web site.

BARTACT 2018 JEEP WRANGLER JL TACTICAL FRONT SEAT COVERS (PAIR) - 2 DOOR ONLY”
I, too, am confused. I ordered front seat covers way before I had my Jeep & had to return them after JLopes alerted us to the fact that the JL seats were different than the JLU seats. I called last week to find out where my replacements were & kinda got the cold shoulder with no replacement date.

Soo... I called Bartec to see if I can at least get front seats ordered. I agree with John, I don’t want my seats to start staining. He at first said he doesn’t have 2 door jl’s, just 4 door which are different. I said what about our forum member, who gave you his wrangler for measurements and he has a front set on? So he said welll... he thinks he will have the prototype in a few days and will send to manufacturer. What’s up, John? Is that right?
I ordered and received mine in early June prior to my JL arriving. Realized they did not account for the latch so I called and they had not seen a 2 door and asked me to send photos of the latch. Did so and returned the ones I'd received, and am waiting to get a replacement set. I spoke to Sal last week and it seems they are in the process of getting production up and running. They are in the same boat that a lot of after market accessory makers are in...more demand than they are staffed for.

You mention storage... Any clever 2-door ideas? I also plan on removing my rear seats once I (finally) receive my JL.
For traveling I use a home fab’ed platform that bolts to the rear seatbelt bolts so all underneath is secure when tailgate is locked and I can the strap down all I need on the top, including my ARB fridge.

Does seem to a bit, but I think most of us are still here. Now that we have are Jeep we have nothing to complain about anymore. So glad the waiting, and false build reports are behind us. Glad I hooked up with this group. It made the 137 day wait go a little easier sharing all our experiences together! It was an ordeal for sure. Get out and enjoy your Jeeps!

LOL re: ammo cans. For some reason it made me think of Yosemite Sam... if he was driving a Jeep!

Good point about nets potentially blocking the rear view. I would have to play with tension/weight if I decided to give it a try.

Ya, maybe the guy on the phone did not know they were ready.

I think I may order a pair, they are pricey, but it sounds like its worth it. Stupid palm tree is dumping all kinds of wierd stuff now and boxers like to wipe wierd stuff all over the back of the fronts. I may just get a cheap cover craft cover for rear seat, its out and in garage most of the time

I believe I have the 1st production pair on the way still, 2 month wait but @jlopes68 has the very 1st pair from there shop.
When I called it was quick and easy but he said it would be a wait since he just mocked up the first sets I’m curious why the 2 doors and 4 doors are different has anyone investigated that yet?

Thanks for the idea, I own a sheet metal shop & am going to design a 16ga. cover that will connect to the rear seat tie downs via turnbuckles that can be easily removed if need be. Thoughts?

Milk crates tied down easier and are a bit cheaper, but these Rigid bins are stackable and I can use their tool box for anything that I need to keep dry. Very handy. Usually centered behind the seats I can reach back and get to things easy as well. I've strapped fire extinguishers, CO2 tanks, and recovery gear on these boxes as well. The ratchet straps keep things nice and secure.

Eventually I'll get some kind of lockable box so I can leave the Jeep with stuff in it while the top is off. For now, this is easy and comes in very handy.
Once it cools off some, I’m planning to take hardtop off before anything. Maybe I’ll ask someone to help me with the ACEs, hate to be stuck half way.

What would the weight be on something like that? Note that my plywood platform has one support in the middle as well creating two separate channels so to speak underneath for storage.

I would be interested to see what you come up with in regards to a metal version. Keep us posted

I think the pulley on top side of the seat, bringing it forward? I think that’s what he said when I called.
