Everyone driving? :coffee:
Think so! Tons of people went from waiting and daydreaming to driving and doing Jeepy things :)

Soo... I called Bartec to see if I can at least get front seats ordered. I agree with John, I don’t want my seats to start staining. He at first said he doesn’t have 2 door jl’s, just 4 door which are different. I said what about our forum member, who gave you his wrangler for measurements and he has a front set on? So he said welll... he thinks he will have the prototype in a few days and will send to manufacturer. What’s up, John? Is that right?

I was thinking the same, Gary. I still check posts in the morning, and again in the evening. (Today I’m off, so I’m checking it now, too lol).
So, being a newbie, I’m thinking what mods can a gal with her first wrangler do?
I put a front plate holder. I “inked” my gal with a tiny sticker (can’t bring myself to add too many stickers yet).
I’m thinking ACE rock sliders should be easy to install even by someone like me. Am I right?
Any other mods that can be done with relative ease?

I haven't done it myself, but I've heard/seen from folks that have installed the ACE sliders and the body bolts are a total bear to get off. Nothing against the female persuasion, but you might want/need some help with that part.

Thankfully I have free cycles at work at the moment, but if given the choice I'd be out exploring myself.

Best part of owning a Jeep is making it your own. Personality counts with your own choices. Sliders are a great start.

I don't like stickers either, so I took two off to add one. lol

Some other easy things I've done: Spray painted the muffler black, setup storage for the roof and doors, took out the rear seat and added a crate to hold stuff, changed the oil, added a winch, took the carpets out to see how long it would take (might line with rhino liner), put poly fill into the speakers to help sound, tie down loose bits, etc.

What do you feel you need that will help make her yours?

We need to change the thread title to " What have you done with your 2dr today"
No title change, but perhaps we should migrate to such a new thread? :movember:

You mention storage... Any clever 2-door ideas? I also plan on removing my rear seats once I (finally) receive my JL.

For now I just use a ratchet strap to hold down a Rigid bin but had a milk crate in the last Jeep. It's useful for holding all kinds of on the go things like the bike helmet and gear, camping supplies, or groceries.

Milk crates tied down easier and are a bit cheaper, but these Rigid bins are stackable and I can use their tool box for anything that I need to keep dry. Very handy. Usually centered behind the seats I can reach back and get to things easy as well. I've strapped fire extinguishers, CO2 tanks, and recovery gear on these boxes as well. The ratchet straps keep things nice and secure.

Eventually I'll get some kind of lockable box so I can leave the Jeep with stuff in it while the top is off. For now, this is easy and comes in very handy.

I’m confused, they are right on their web site.
https://www.bartact.com/products/ba...nly?rq=yr_2018~mk_jeep~md_wrangler-jl-and-jlu

Title of that product is “
BARTACT 2018 JEEP WRANGLER JL TACTICAL FRONT SEAT COVERS (PAIR) - 2 DOOR ONLY”

Thank you, Gary. I like this type of modular approach.

I also read on a thread somewhere that there are some good netting solutions to utilize space creatively (e.g. some type of mesh you can install on the ceiling so you can slide backpacks or blankets up there without cluttering the trunk floor).

The back of your Jeep looks perfect - active without being messy! :like:
