For those with a 2 door soft top, when you put your top down does it block the view out of the back from the rear view mirror?

Well.... a tiny bit; but no more than when the back seat is in its upright position (when someone can sit in it). My biggest gripe was that the wind bounced it around even when locked and it flapped. But I remedied that with tie-downs. Now I love going with the top all the way down.

I think i'm going to do what you did and get the 48" bungee cords. I noticed the same where it will bounce a little when driving. I'm also looking for some velcro to keep the rear seatbelts from flapping.

Vented inner fenders installed today.

Chad, what do those actually do? I've seen them before but never understood why they're installed.

Bungee cords are 5 bucks each @ Home Depot.
I also get their 12 foot roll of velcro. It's 9 bucks and I've already gone through 3 rolls strapping stuff down! Lol!

Chad, what do those actually do? I've seen them before but never understood why they're installed.

Allow lots of heat to vent out the sides. A cooler motor is a better running motor.

Hello, everyone just got back from a week in OBX "outer banks N.C " weather was great no rain, had the top down the whole week. I think OBX might be the jeep capital of the world. Tons of jeeps every where. I averaged 18.8 mpg if i kept in under 70, but if i went over 70 closer to 75 i would drop down to 18.2 mpg. On the way home i hit several deluges , and i'm happy to report the PST didn't leak a bit . I'd like to show you some cool,pics of my jeep on the beach, but i forgot to take some. i did how ever take a pic of a painting in my bathroom of a jeep on the beach

oh and this is keda , i logged in under a old profile by mistake

So found out a friend of a friend works at or close to the lot my Rubi is sitting in on its journey to me and was able to snap me a few pics. Not long now!!

Andy, what I tried today and it worked superbly, was to use both the bungees AND a velcro strap. Bungees on each side and the velcro binding the center of the fabric to itself. The bungees stopped the bouncing but at higher speeds I was still getting a flapping noise from the loose roof fabric. Now it works perfectly! No bounce; no flapping noise. Perfection.
