OK slow down. Go to "Build A Jeep". Build a cheap Rubicon. Then click on
standard equip. Go down to "Exterior Features" click to open it. You will
see it listed in 2d column. I printed all this gave it to my dealer when
I ordered. It came with out one he put on 5.
THanks i'll send a screen shot of that to my dealer and ask him for a locking spare lug nut. might never use it but why not push for it on principle.

This talk on Loc Lug Nut is simple. As I said it is on "Build a Jeep". I did print out
all pages when I ordered. It came to $49,330. If it was on my print out I wanted
everything listed. At that price I wanted ALL THAT WAS LISTED. It IS there and
yes it is a small item but you paid for it. Let's not let Jeep get away with this
as 1 lug nut for every Rubicon does not seem much but just how much money
does Jeep get by not suppling one ?? Lotza $$$$

I know some people have bought the ace sliders, has anyone put them on yet? What do you think of them?
They just shipped mine out today for Friday delivery. Have had them on my last two JKs and loved them. Take a beating and hold up.

Just curious--Anyone have any idea on the velcro not aligning neatly at the top edges of my soft top (near the front windows)? I'm of the opinion that this is a Jeep thing
Jeep thing. Mine line up exactly like yours.

Just received notice they have shipped, will not arrive until Monday. Will try to get them installed the day they come in, may need to leave work early to do it.

For all of the Jeeples on this forum, I apologize for what I have to say. After waiting for months to be able to place an order for HellaYella JLs, a few of us jumped on it immediately when it became available. I was one of the first with an order date of 6/22 & Mimmy followed with one on 6/25. The point of this post is that you all had to wait soooo long while Mimmy got hers in 29 days & mine is on a truck now & should be delivered tomorrow at 34 days. Looks like maybe FCA finally got their $h!t together!!! Congrats to all!
No need to apologize! So glad for you! Plus we forget all the pain and frustration (at least I did) once we get our Jeeps!

Yikes, I didn't think my post would cause such a rukkus Re: plate smudging. Why do I do it? Maybe I'm battle hardened from living in New York City for the last ten years, but it just seems like another step that takes me a few seconds to make it ever so slightly harder for someone to easily identify me. Of course, anyone on the street can take down your plate and pay a service for a lookup, but you'd have to catch their ire in the moment, versus the relative permanence of the interwebs. I've always had a colorful automotive fleet. I'm fortunate enough to have the sensibilities of a five year old car nut without the hinderance of anyone admonishing my automotive misgivings. As such, I've had lovely New Yorkers give me all kinds of feedback, most of it positive----most. A few years ago I was driving my guards red Porsche Boxster home from work on the rare not terribly traffic ridden early evening and thus had my top down. As I was dawdling towards a light not 10 blocks from my apartment a young lady eagerly waved her hands trying to get my attention. I pulled over, thinking she was in some kind of distress and asked her if she needed help with something. She asked "Is this your car?". I rather cautiously said "Well...yes", and she said "Do you live in the neighborhood?" I responded "I live nearby". She then gave me a terse look and said "GO F@#! YOURSELF". I wished her a good evening and kept driving. Still, doesn't beat the time a farther son duo practiced their expectoration skills atop the hood of my Lotus while I was half a block away on a phone call. Many more stories like that abound, though again, to be fair to my home city I find myself confined to mostly against my will, most of it is positive.

Just curious--Anyone have any idea on the velcro not aligning neatly at the top edges of my soft top (near the front windows)? I'm of the opinion that this is a Jeep thing, but I also find it hard to imagine my own negligence didn't lead to the misalignment (photo again for reference):

I don’t know about the Velcro, but I think the lady was just wishing you a good evening in new yorkese!

Yeah i didn't get one either so i looked on my build sheet , and it doesn't mention one. Maybe they changed it half way through the build cycle.

Orderd the bartact seat cover set up was like $300 and sum change they told me 4-5 weeks. I orderd black n red it was the first available for building process. I’m not too far from Cali I might just pick them up late August when I go for my b-day to see my buddy that lives in chino.
@jlopes68 you still enjoying them? Does the zipper pocket on the bottom of the cover rub on your legs like if you have shorts on ?
