Woooohoooo!!!! I’m gonna get me a wildebeest for supper! My lioness is in the prowl!
Accelerates awesome, steers nice! I forgot to reduce pressure when we left. My husband said not to worry. I said hell no, I’m stopping!
Took front panels off (god how easy it is, light as feathers). I think I got sunstroke and a sunburn on the drive home. Teaches me right, should not go topless in 90+ temp.
Anyway, dealer was awesome, can’t beliee waiting is done.

She is gorgeous!!! Ocean Blue looks spectacular on a 2-door Rubi. Great choice, Cristina. Sunburnt or not, you must be on cloud 9! :sun: :like: :sun: :like:

I saw the color in real life today for the first time (Sawyer Motors in Saugerties NY had two OB JLUs when I drove by earlier, if any Upstaters want to see the color). As many others have said, even though the color looks good in pics, it looks even better in person!

Enjoy your lioness. Time for her to roar!

So, shameless plug...not for me personally, but for a company that I think is doing a great job making accessories for us Jeeples. So much so that i reached out to them to offer my unicorn as a test vehicle and for measurements for new 2-door products. (They are in San Jose...not far from me.) Met up with their designer and co-founder Rob on Tuesday. He spent a lot of time taking pics and measurements, and a bit of video of me using my grab-handles to use in promotional content. Anyway, super nice and talented guy, great company, fantastic products..and hopefully some cool 2-door JL specific stuff in the near future...check them out:

And here's a quick, unedited snippet of me in my JL....The top is in a kind of weird (sunrider+safari) position because I didn't notice at the time (we had been taking a lot of different measurements) so don't judge LOL!

Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to exploring accessories once I get my JL. Cool looking video, too.

Thanks, Alex. I absolutely love the color, kept going out to look at it.
Confession however: had to run downtown to the supermarket; took the old car, so I would not put my gal in harms way it the crowded parking lot! Ashamed to admit it; I’ll get better. I know she’ll get scratches, but she’s so perfect right now, I want to enjoy her for a short while!

I think it is just when the air conditioner is running. I am amazed at how quick it cools, it's almost instantly blowing cold air and lots of it. I've heard a lot of people say how loud it is. That's fine with me, it is the sound of POWER!
Stupid question, but is there a trick to turning off the A/C? The only way i can get it to turn off is to turn off the fan. If I press the A/C button, the light flashes, goes solid and stays on. I don't think it's working properly. Should be able to run the fan without the air on.

I'm the same! Parking as far away from the store doors as I can! lol Even in my 9 yr-old VW, I parked a ways off. I hate it when people ding your door and I like to keep my things pristine! Unfortunately, I got a small chip on one of the door hinges 3 days after I picked it up...

Good Morning Lydia. That is my schedule as well. Coffee, look up "Jeep stuff on the PC, then find an excuse to take a ride somewhere! Enjoy your Sunday!
Good morning, Fred! :)
I’ll be drinking my coffee, then doing chores, putting Vida’s top back on, going to work for a bit, birthday picnic for my niece, more chores...a busy Sunday! Quiet time with coffee is a must to start! Have a great day!!

No I did not park in that space, that is where the dealer put it.
Looking good in Billet Silver. That was on my list as well before going with the Granite Crystal. Very nice!

It should turn off when you hit the button, unless you're in defrost mode?

You should be able to toggle the AC on and off if you have automatic climate control you can toggle between auto and manual by pressing the auto button. I have found the best way to figure these things out is by playing around with the controls. When you figure it out do it again. Experience is the best teacher.
