I'm going to try to make that. So it would really be epic to meet you all. ./wave
I’ll try to make Moab. Quite a drive from Savannah, but Moab is one of THE most favorite places for my husband and me!

No worries, I’d just fly! I do my off roading from the pax seat & on my feet! :camera: I love being the one capturing the action! :like:
They have wrangles for rent. PLUS, we will fight to have you in our jeep!

You’re in Savannah?!?!! That’s the only solo vacation I’ve ever taken & I was mesmerized by the beauty of it in one weekend. I’ve always wanted to go back! Such an amazing place!!!

I agree the road trip would be awesome! That’s a bucket list item for me...driving cross country. No set plans. Meander. Go where I want, stop for however long I want. Just let it ride. That’ll have to be after I get lotsssss of vacation time saved up!

And I wouldn’t settle for ‘a’ pax seat. I’d be hopping my ass from Jeep to Jeep!!! :giggle:
Daughter and I did that last month. From Austin up to Wisconsin then over to Bar Harbor Maine then worked our way back. Kind of booked stuff along the way. Next year we are looking at road tripping to the Dakotas then across to Washington area.

Ok, here's a question:
How many of you have tried to put your JLs into 4H and 4L? Have you had trouble getting it into 4-wheel drive?
I got stuck in about 29 inches of water the other day and sat there for a little over 2 minutes trying to get Stormie into 4H... she just wouldn't go.
Finally, I got it in 4H and she hopped right out like she was saying, "What the hell took you so long!?"
I was actually recording with my GoPro, so I got it on video. I've edited one minute out of it since it was just me sitting there trying to figure out what I was going to do if I couldn't get out!!! Here's the video. You can see me go down and start to sink! If there was ever an "Oh shit!" moment, that was it for me!
And here's a shot of Stormie after she got me clear of the water trap! Look closely and you can see the water line on the door! My interior only got a little bit of water in it, too. I was surprised that my whole Jeep didn't fill up since the water level was way up past my doors! Good thing I had my doors on!!!

You should be able to shift into 4 hi anywhere from stopped to 40 mph, Now 4 low normaly you want to be moving between 3-5 mph. The jeep expert told me when we went over my vehicle at the dealership , that jeep wants you to be moving at least 5 mph even to shift into 4 hi . I said to him you mean 4 low. He said no 4 hi also, Which you found out is bull, you cant go 5 mph when your stuck already.

So, just got home. Too late to take pics but will do so tomorrow. Now here’s the thing......

Test drive went great, no problems with paperwork and the like, smooth experience. Halfway to the house I get 2 warning lights..... driveable, but start stop says needs service and so does traction control. By then it’s after 9pm so figure I take it in in morning. I sent my sales rep a txt, but seeing how late it is figured she would get back to me tomorrow.

She responded in 5 minutes, told me she would do her best to be in by 730am, will txt me when she leaves home. Wants to meet me and take my ride to the service director directly to have it looked at immediately.

So not exactly thrilled but impressed by her level of attention.
