Ermahgerd, my Jeep is here! Picking up tomorrow.

AND I just got home after my hair appointment (can’t be a mop head when I pick up Nalah) and my seat covers were waiting by the door!

So the way this all went down today was kind of funny and cool. I drove by, saw a truck unloading, still no Jeep. I txt my sales rep to see if I could find out when they will be loading it up and if deliveries happen on Saturday. She says nothing she can do, so sorry, etc.

Got home txted her it’s ok, thanks, talk next week. Right after that she txt IT IS HERE! Says 2 more trucks showed up and mine is sitting on one. Says it may be next week as there is now a long line for PDI, I tell her it’s ok gonna drop by just to see it on truck.

Get there and.... she had them pull mine off first. Got to look at it up close and inside. She tells me she will try to fast track it thru PDI and be ready tomorrow.

BUT, and I kid you not, she just now txt me and says she got it thru PDI and do I want to come in to get it now..... talk to you all in a bit!

Ha! Picking up now, but here is what I grabbed quick earlier

Mine got here yesterday, the managed to get the tires, wheels, and tire carrier on! Lift should be here next Thursday and installed the following Tuesday. Not sure how but the parts guy got a 2 door 2 inch lift kit from Mopar... hope I'm not the guinea pig lol.

Sadly there was some paint missing on the top corner of my driver door, but that should be fixed the same time the lift is getting installed.

Hope everyone gets theirs soon!

my march order JLR PST Manual finally showed up. I am sticking with my 4 door that I have already had nearly 2 months so this one is available on the lot in Staunton Va. Valley CDJR if anyone is interested.

Still need to air down a bit, dealer set the tires at 40psi. Holy crap the PST is quiet. I can barely hear any wind noise. Going to find a way to hang the doors this weekend and get them off for a bit. Also need to fashion something for the windows. It's amazing how easy this top goes down!

Holy hell it is tough to keep up in here. Congrats on pick up, and hoping for more. Going to dealer tomorrow for the cruise recall. When I get home I will spend the day washing him and installing parts that have accumulated in the garage.

I thought you might tell your dealer something like "I'll be down sometime next week to pick up..." Awesome and congratulations, and happy you are out of the waiting room and into the drivers seat. The JL owners club is getting a lot of new members! Welcome to the best group there is!
