Has anyone else experienced delays in the inspection (I) status? I've been sitting awaiting inspection for nearly 2 weeks and have not received any update - even though my dealer hot tagged my inspection/ shipment. Ordered in January and am worried it will be August by the time my JL arrives.

I know on JG mine was in built pending inspection 5/9 til 6/20 when it became KZ. I think during this interval, it goes to body vendors to add top, etc. I waited about a month for my headliner, which was behind at that time.
I don’t know if and what additions may be on short supply at present. Maybe someone on forum knows. Gosh, January... I’m sorry it’s going so slowly for you.

How difficult was it to pop the covers? I'm gonna make an attempt at it this weekend.
IF the cover(s) is what is rattling, it will easily come off. Just pull on the cover. There is no way you can damage anything so have at it.

Yeah I ordered mine with the premium soft top, so no headliner. Just disappointing because FCA obviously hasn't made fulfilling December and January orders a priority. They probably figure that if we haven't bailed on them yet, we never will. And so might as well build and ship as many new orders as possible to keep new buyers happy.

My dealer is getting a Red Rubi with hardtop and a stick, been going back and forth on deciding if I want an auto or stick, sport or Rubi, but I think I will go for it when it arrives.

Red Rubi is sooo damn nice looking, and probably over kill for the wheeling I do, but its better to be over than under and stuck.

Plus did I mention red rubi is amazing looking :O (Its important to ask only enablers if spending more is a good idea)

Ok back to refreshing to see in Transit vs on lot status :P

Mine was delivered to dealer late yesterday afternoon! Picked her up today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (1 day shy of 20 weeks!). Just posting a pic of me and one of my goofy kids for now. The pic is not the greatest...taken by another goofy kid. Congrats to all just getting their Jeeps like me!

I miss my girl :brokenhearted: She’s been in the nursery for 5 days now while she’s topless. I’ve been driving her every day, but not having her parked where I can see her all the time is rough!!!
Love that angle. How did you get the elevated shot? I use a 12 ft tripod or a drone.

Thanks for the gopro suggestion but I meant with a diy spray bomb bed liner. Lol. I used duplicolor truck liner on my last pair of sliders and it worked good but that was a few years ago
Oh!!! Lol!
Btw, the seatbelt chime trick works like a charm!!!

Listen, Gary, it seems you will make yourself fit in a wrangler no matter what, so go for it!
