This shows all that’s left of the front fender extensions, just using a sharp utility knife and lots of sanding and patience!
Ooooo, I won’t be doing that! I’ll just be taking the pieces between the fenders & bumper out. And I guess I should end all mod posts with ‘for now’.....:giggle:

It’s not like those pieces are weatherproof anyway, there are built-in holes at the bottom. And if you look at the photos taken at the LA Auto Show of the white 2 door Sport that was Mopar modified, they just took the peices off - you can see the fog light wiring exposed in one of the clips...so obviously it does no harm to have it all uncovered! I just like the finished look.
Waaaaait a minute. HAHAHA! I totally was looking at that pic & seeing something else. Like a dumb ass who needs more coffee! :cwl: I’ll be doing eggzachary what you did!
(Blonde moment!!!:headbang::giggle::angel:)

45 two door JL's within 150 miles of Raleigh including 17 Rubi's. Mine is still showing as in transit. More are now showing on dealer lot.
76 around here, one being my first order. Hopefully my second order moves along quick this coming week!

I gotta say, I want to do so much on my first day with my Jeep that I'm kinda like a deer in the headlights.

Which way do I go?

lol

Woohoo....

... hole in windshield washer cap, check
Stereo setup with phone, check
tire pressures, check
full tank, check

Wife ready to head to the hills for a drive? Well not yet... but I think the first day will be driving. TTFN

Tire pressure was crazy high on mine. 47 psi.

Just got my 2door soft top (after a 5.5 month wait) and i saw on the 4 doors you can unhook the top from the track and drop it down so they are out of the way. But i cant figure out how to do it on the 2door. Anyone know if its not available on the 2door....
There is a latch that will allow you to release the bearing/wheel from the rail. I think it is only if you want to completely remove the top.

No. It works the same as the 4 door. Pull the release handle above the back window and slide down the top. Then, engage BOTH locks.

Look on YouTube there are good walk-through videos on removing windows and dropping the top.
