Good news you are off the schneid..

In-Transit 06/20/18 06:29:00 AM RAWLINS, WY
Yesterday I mailed every Jeep email I could find on the internet to complain. Im hoping to eventually find somebody that cares. This morning also emailed my dealer again, and coincidently 5 minutes later the update comes through where it started moving again. Makes me look like an idiot every time:

Me: Hey dealer why the F is my Jeep not going anywhere?!
Dealer: It is its in Wyoming now
Me: O thanks... :asshat:

So the build sheet for my March order just popped on Crypto. Does this usually happen before or after it makes it down the line? Any typical timeframes after the build sheet for sticker and KZ status?

Just curious as my May order should get built next Tuesday, interested in seeing how much of a time difference there was between ordering in March vs May.

I took like 30 days from build sheet to sticker, so dont get too excited. Think its supposed to just be a couple days though

expect less than a week, which should be typical, from build sheet to sticker.

Mine was 4 days between the two.

2 days from build sheet to KZ. then 2 days to build sticker

I'm definitely gonna be doing a fair amount of safari-mode with the top once I get half tube doors. It's gonna look great.

Thanks everyone! JBall, that breakdown is awesome.

My guess at this point is, the March order and May order will be built within a week of each other. And a decent chance they will both end up on the same train and truck.

Does not make much sense seeing as folks before March are still waiting, but none of this has made a whole lot of sense to begin with.

My pleasure. If anyone in Northern Cali (vehicle trained into Benicia rail yard) wants the entire list from build to delivery, I can PM or post it for you. It's not totally complete yet-I'm expecting it to be delivered to Benicia by tomorrow afternoon though. Just let me know.

so we have been in a neck and neck race jball, i beat you to the rail yard but i think you just might beat me to dealer. a quick review of the albuquerque unload/load times suggests 6 to 12 hours to get off the train, but 7 to 13 d to get on the truck :-(

Awww, man. Did you ask your dealer to hot-tag it at the rail-yard to get it on a truck right away? I copied this off another thread many months ago:

Don’t forget after the train ride it sits in the holding lot to wait for the portable parking lot to pick it up and that could take days or weeks. The dealer has to have enough too get a truckload at the yard. The dealer could also call the yard and “hot tag” the vehicle

I pushed my guy pretty hard to make sure he did this-told him that after 6 1/2 months I have waited long enough. I'll let you know how it goes.

i did. he gave me the "i texted my regional guy, but he's the same guy who never got back to me last time", line....btw, i performed the same exercise on benicia, and typical rail unload times are about 9 hrs average, with a couple of outliers at 1.5 to 3 days, but your truck load up is better, at 2 d average, with a couple outliers at 5 or 6 d

You should be expecting 3-4 days avg from benicia ingate to dealer arrival, putting you at about a 6/24 or 6/25 dealer delivery

Thanks! I've been looking at a few JG examples too-I'm really hoping my dealer will get it on the first truck out-trying to be optimistic and somehow will it to happen.
