Hey everyone,
Future Jeep owners here...

We just ordered our 2D Rubicon and couldn't be more excited. I'm not a car-guy so keep that in mind-- my background is more in remodels and additions. We've modded-out every house we've owned and now it's time to learn some new skills. So far I've been reading and watching everything out there on the JL and look forward to learning a ton from you all!

Put in our order 6/7. The POC shows 6/26 estimated ship. That doesn't seem realistic since I'm expecting more like 8 weeks, hopefully in time for a road trip in September. Here's hoping everyone's baby comes in, especially those of you who have been waiting so long. 6 months from when they opened the ordering? Maybe the wait will make it that much more awesome when they come in? If that's even possible. :)

Good luck!

131 days for me today. I seriously doubt I'll have it this month, so July 1st will be 5 months waiting for me. What's urking me the most (besides FCA's lack of concern) is that I NEED this vehicle for my business. Sure, I'll be taking fun trips in it as well, but I've already missed several good photo shoots because my little Fiat 500 won't go off-road! Lol!

To those who are getting their Jeeps inside 2 months, we ARE happy for you! That's the way it SHOULD be. But if you start reading this thread from the beginning you will see that it was started because the original poster was wondering when his Jeep was going to be built. That's why it kinda pisses us off when we read someone's post who only ordered a few weeks ago. Don't take it personally; just take some time to get the true vibe of this thread by going back and reading from the beginning.
Out of curiosity, is there a common feature/configuration with the Jeeps taking 6 months to deliver? I will hopefully, based on the latest info, get my Jeep within 2 months. So then the question is why would I get mine when others ahead of me are waiting? Any idea why there is such disparity?

Welcome Michael! While most of us here have been waiting months (I'm past the 6 month mark now), hoping yours moves through the process quickly. They seemed to have ramped up to full production finally. Good luck!

I have been "unofficially" keeping track and now that the PST's are being built I cannot see any single option that is consistent with the delays. For those with the hard top the headliner is an issue as those are being built but then are "held" waiting for a 3rd party vender to install. Simply no rhyme or reason to why some are built in 4 weeks and other 4-6 months

Phew - that's pretty disheartening. My attention span is measured in minutes so waiting months for a car is very very painful. I hope you all get your Jeeps soon

Just found out...I am in "D1"!!! In fact, I went to D1 yesterday...must have been after I called the Jeep Information Center around noon...
Got an updated POC from the dealer. It shows an Estimated Ship Date of 6/30. Called the Jeep Information Center to confirm and Ashley did say I was in "D1" but wouldn't give any more information other than it could take 30 days to ship the Jeep. I haven't heard from my Brand Mentor yet...will see how long it takes him to catch up...

OR ROAD HAZARD TIRE & WHEEL PROTECTION (3 Year Contract)- Full Repair or Replacement Cost for all four (4) OEM or aftermarket tires and wheels, or Full Replacement Value (at current retail market value) for all four (4) tires and wheels where tires/wheels are no longer available. Includes cost of mounting, balancing and stems. • Up to $7,500 maximum reimbursement amount during term of plan • Includes replacement of tire pressure sensor gauge • $100 “Sign-And-Go” Towing and Roadside Assistance • $0 Deductible per repair visit • 24 Hour Service Provided by Agero, Inc. 1-800-521-2779
Am I the only one who plans on doing 5-wheel rotations on their JLs? Why have a full sized "spare" tire and not use it? Replace all 5 when the time comes for new rubber...that way, you have a fresh spare for when you really need it...instead of a 2-4 year old tire that has been baking in the sun??

I still haven't heard from my brand mentor that my Jeep is on the way, let alone that it went into production or that it was built and released. In my experience, worthless @JeepCares. The last I heard was that it went D1 five days after I already knew that.

Do you mean this is offered to all with long wait? Is it “official”?
I have no idea how this is offered. It is not from your Dealer. I do not
know if you can even inquire about this. I have not seen another post
that someone received this also. I was notified by Email from Nicole
and Chrysler a week or so after delivery.
