I just read about a Fiat Chrysler recall of 4.8 million vehicles including the 2018 wrangler, its related to the cruise control issues. You guys may want to look into to it.
Why does Chrysler want my foot???????

I have decided to walk away from my build today. I've been in JB for 3 weeks or so. The bright white paint yellowing issues (fenders & grille), steering problems, and now running late into the model year I'm not going to take delivery. Today I have placed a vehicle order with another company.

With that being said I have brand new Mopar All Weather Mats for the 2 door as well as brand new round hinge mirrors from quadratec.
Mats were $105 and mirrors were $39.99 willing to sell both for $60 plus shipping. If anyone is interested let me know.

Good offer, but like you, I am close to giving up. The jeep I was once so excited to get, has now lost it's glamor and is replaced with concerns about quality and more importantly customer support if you need it. We are paying customers just think how they will treat us when we want service; just use chat or the 866 number to submit a request!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you still having issues? I've had dropouts on Spotify three times within the first half hour of pairing my phone. Hasn't happened in the couple of driving hours since. Not sure if it was a cell streaming issue or a Bluetooth issue.
I just use Android auto now. I haven't tried straight Bluetooth since my first issues. Android auto works but it's slow to sync up sometimes and feels a little clunky sometimes. Still it's acceptable and sounds good.

I think I have to accept that there's no way I'm gonna get to test drive a 2 door Sport (not Sport S) before ordering. Those crank windows, non-dope rims, and spartan interior are gonna be sight unseen!

Anyone nearing pickup of a 2 door Sport?

I've noticed that a lot of people here have general brand loyalty with Jeep, even buying a new Jeep every couple years. Interesting.

I suppose I've had three Hondas myself, and that's some loyalty.

Been there done that. DO NOT give up as it will be well worth it. Mine sat in KZ ready to
ship for 29 days. I was a wreck over this. It was 1 of first 5 built and what do I see. I see
them ship all over this country and Canada. My dealer is 60 miles from the plant yet I
sit and wait. Now also they are every where and mine was FIRST one in Ohio to be delivered
to a dealer. Yes I was pissed and much more than that. DO NOT blame your dealer it is Jeep.
The wait yet it is a bitch is well worth it. My Rubicon is like NO OTHER Jeep. Looks so good,
rides so smooth, steers beautiful, and on and on. Hang in there you WILL be happy.

Now that I've been driving my Jeep for a week here are a few observations. There is no particular order in these just as I think about them.

1) I haven't done it lately but the hazard lights button is easy to hit when shifting into third. After a few times hitting it I know to keep my knuckles/fingers in. Still not the best placement.

2) I suffer from the leaky rear wiper issue. So I always have a white streak on my rear window.

3) I kinda wish I got a soft top for ease of going topless whenever I want. I like the looks of the hard top though. So it's a mix bag. Once I get my hoist maybe I'll feel differently.

4) I'm still amazed at how nicely this thing shifts. All my previous Jeeps were a little clunky on the shifter. This one is silk.

5) I much prefer the new door handles over the JKs. They feel better and look more refined.

6) having the stop points in the door is amazing. I don't have to worry about my kids opening the door into other cars now.

7) The stock hight and stance of the Rubicon is perfect for me. I probably won't be lifting it or adding larger tires. It looks pretty tough.

8) The more I look at the dash, the more I like the new interior style. FCA did a fantastic job on it. It looks rugged and with the exception of the hazard button it's laid out great.

9) ESS isn't quite as smooth as it is in my Camry or Highlander. The problem I have with it is I can't press the brake lightly enough for it not to trigger. If I'm doing a quick stop in my other cars I can keep ESS from triggering. Not so much on the Jeep.

10) I've mentioned it before but I love the turning radius on two door Jeeps. parallel parking is a breeze.

11) Jeep wave... Guys do it women don't. The heck is up with that!?

12) I really like the overall finish of the Jeep. I've crawled over every bit of it and everything looks solid and put together well.

That's it for now. I know some of you are still waiting for your Jeeps .Keep waiting! There is not a single other vehicle on the road like a Wrangler. It's worth the wait. I wouldn't be happy with anything else.

I have a JLU BASE SPORT and love every stripped down thing about it. If you are "that person," you will love the basics too. My one real complaint, the radio unit is SLOOOOOOWWWW to start up. I think it must have a Pentium chip in it.

Can't be worse than the joke of a stereo in a base JK. I am that person that appreciates the simpler things! The main goals of my Jeep are to cruise topless and not break down. I know I can wheel plenty hard and get plenty far without a Rubicon, so even though I can afford one, I'm going base. Saving about eight grand (MSRP) that way.

Anything else I should know about the Sport? Is the non leather steering wheel still nice? Does it do phone connectivity properly?

I've heard some stuff about the TPMS sensors. I'm wondering if it's gonna be costly to try and put rubicon rims and tires on a Sport.
