I guess they are waiting for a complete load
to Northeast Ohio as no dealers have any.
None down here in Central Florida yet either. Though there are three "in transit" to 3 different dealerships within 150 miles of Orlando.

Interesting suggestion. Thank you very much, NM Original! I don’t anticipate any towing, but will definitely do some research on the alternator and battery.
Do you think there is a risk stock LEDs will drain the battery too quickly? That didn’t even cross my mind. Would love to hear more about your concerns/experience.
The LED pull much less power. Even the wiring harness is a smaller gauge.
You have to get Proximity door locks . So much easier than fumbling with keys.
LED are not stock it is an option.

Sorry, no that battery drain thing was me being sarcastic  - LEDs are 'low power', so are better than the halogen on the battery. But I do think with the electronic stop and start (ESS), a better prime battery and alternator would not be overkill.
Oh, and you also do get the AUX switches - all hooked up and ready to use - if you have other electrical things you want to wire up.

The receiver is also good for bike racks and extra cargo space, but you can alway have one added on later if you want to just use it for that kind of thing, that is not an expensive thing to do at Uhaul and other shops.

Go ahead and get Tow package and Proximity door locks key fob. It will add $15 to monthly payment?

No don't add receiver at u-haul. You get SO MUCH MORE as an option. At same price.
You do know receiver option includes Batt--Ault--Aux Switches

Ha! Being in full buyer’s remorse mode, I second-guessed myself and missed your sarcasm altogether! I was beginning to wonder what else I missed... ;) Thanks for clearing that up! :whew:

Thanks for sharing your build sheet, street water. We’ve made many of the same choices.
Yeah, I misspoke when I said stock LED - I meant factory-installed rather than after-market. I’m painfully aware that it’s an $895 option... But I often drive at night so it’s probably worth it. I’ll just have to make sure they are angled properly so they don’t inconvenience oncoming traffic.

Y’all might sway me when it comes to the Proximity feature. Everybody here seems to like it. I have the same feature on my Renegade right now, but since I always check that I have my keys anyway, I must confess that I don’t find it to be a game changer... But maybe I’d miss it if I decided to kick it old school. Hmm.

46 two doors in transit 150 miles radius near 06759; 17 Rubicon’s. They are being produced but probably still sitting in a parking lot near Toledo.

That mentality is not one everyone can subscribe to. You end up buying a fully loaded vehicle that way. Shit adds up.

I prefer to look at overall costs. When I walk into dealerships and they say "what kind of monthly payment are you looking for", I say "the one that spending no more than $XX,000 gets you".

I'm already way over my budget ceiling with the JL, thanks to the $3800 generation increase, haha. I'm just trying to keep it under $30k otd now

Here’s my schtuff.....

Not sure why, but the sticker link says there’s no sticker available for my VIN. Good thing I’m taking all of this with a grain of salt. I get super excited for every step of the way, and then rein it back in to keep waiting & wishing for progress for others.

All right guys, I’m in!!!
2-door Rubi, 2.0 L Turbo, Infotainment/Safety/LED/Cold groups, Sting Gray with black fenders + black freedom top (with headliner).
Yeah I know, maybe I got carried away with all these options, but... YOLO.
My salesperson is waiting until Monday to place the order to give me the weekend to add/remove anything, but this feels right. I’m pretty psyched! Now the extended wait begins... :fingerscrossed:

Yes, sir! My Vida is built!!! :involve::party::handsinair:
I was bummed to see/find out she’d be coming by rail & not the 6 hours on a few major roadways it would take to get here by truck. The flip side of that is the longer she takes, the bigger my down payment will be!:piggybank::like:
