Just got an email from the dealer, my girl moved to F status, which is paint. Keep fingers crossed for shipping...
Ordered 3/7
Ocean blue rubicon
8 speed auto
Steel bumpers
Black hardtop with liner
Black fenders
I think I put everything in the profile.
I think however all the frills and additions come after paint, is that correct?(liners, bumpers, etc)

You should be built any day now! Then you get to move to the waiting on shipping phase. So much fun!

I kinda threw I tantrum yesterday. Not proud of it, but my dealer was being a bit of a #$#$ after me asking what the status is for the umpteenth time and complaining that orders that happened after mine are moving before me. Told him if im not in build status by the end of the week he can cancel the order.

Not really what I wanted, but ill probably stick with. I cant handle this anymore. Ill try again for the 2019, by the time my wrangler would have arrived those order banks are probably going to be open anyways

It’s not the dealer’s fault about all this. Doubt he will cancel order, he can sell it to someone else.
You can always apologize if you still want it. Just stop reading forums 10-20 times a day (like we all do), and think ahead a few weeks.
Delivery is a big issue, but clearly some wranglers are transported.

I really do understand that its not his fault. But first of all, Jeep itself keeps pushing me to my dealer for more information. If I ask about something or complain about something they say to do it through my dealer, they cant do anything. I dont understand why the dealers arent putting more pressure on FCA to either get their shops in order or to at least provide better information. Actually I do understand why, because they dont care either, which is why i lost it yesterday. He was acting like he was doing me a major favor when he called their FCA rep two weeks ago to ask about my status. Why is this doing me a favor? My vehicle is months late. Where is the customer service. Its ridiculous. At this point in time he should be calling that rep twice a day to bug him until he puts pressure on whoever is the next in line.

Ill probably apologize, not that I think I said anything wrong, its not in my nature to be like this, but im just so frustrated with this process I cant even explain it. Im outright angry. My birthday in Sunday and when I ordered on the 1st of Feb we had big plans of road trips and whatnot. Now im probably going to stay at home and watch reruns of Friends

If you’re ordering the 2 door all weather floor mats make sure you’re getting the rear mats as well. Vendors are selling them minus the rears. I bought mine on eBay from quick parts which include the rear mats for less than what others are charging for the fronts only.

Good news/bad news on my delivery. Bad is that my ETA has slipped 9 days from 5/16-5/20 to 5/25-5/29. Good is that I'm On a Train! It was loaded yesterday afternoon in Toledo. Delivery to Winnipeg is all rail with no transloading other than going from the Winnipeg yard to the dealer and that's no more than 2 days after unloading.

I only have a couple of data points for delivery times to Winnipeg from the two tracking sites, but it looks like overall delivery time is around 10 days once loaded in Toledo. Both of those deliveries came 5 days in advance of their ETA windows, so there's a faint hope I might see it next week.

I've mentioned before that I'm on both Jeepgarage.org's and this site's tracking services. They use the same database, but the former is more responsive and detailed. I'm still shown as being in the Toledo lot on this site. I point that out in case anyone is considering paying for either service.

Is there any way to install the fronts without tying into the floor pan drain holes? Photos on this site show that the carpets still get soaked underneath the fronts if you go into water deeper than the floor pan because of leakage around the drain inserts. I'd like to keep the factory plugs in place.

I'm actually leaning towards Husky and Weather Tech for that reason, but they cost more and aren't yet available.

Salsburys Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM has two 2018 2 door JL sports on the lot, black and granite. They are in Baton Rouge, LA. Been looking to see if any dealers had one close to want I ordered is how I found these.

Someone cut off the portion of the mat that protrudes into drain hole and it seems to have worked well. I might do the same.
