NOWHERE in the definition does it say make or do something first.

I personally don't buy into the whole "oh my god don't buy at the end of a model year!!!" thing. When you compare 2013 and 2014 Wranglers for sale now, what matters more: model year, or mileage and condition?

My 2018 will sell for roughly as much as a comparable 2019 in ten years when I'm ready to sell. Chances are 2019s will have an MSRP increase for that stupid BSG system anyway.

Get it in the shop if it's your baby to get it better again. Buy a thousand dollar beater Toyota Corolla to tide you over during that.

I maintain that condition and odometer matter more than one model year with zero or minor changes in the same generation. And I'd sell private party, and I'll get fair market value as the shrewd negotiator I am.

You sound pretty sold on cancelling your order. Do that, buy a 2019, or a Tacoma, own the decision, and be happy!

It doesn't seem like arguing here is making you terribly happy.
