35's fit my '18 Rubi (steel bumper) with no issues: no rub, no wobble, no modification to brake light.
This tire weighs 5 pounds more than the stock 33.
Reinforcement not necessary IMHO
Thanks.
I added the windshield yesterday. I'm not sure I like it though
Also, feel free to use it.
This is a hold-over from my DOS/ASCII programming days
First I read this, and thought OMG, I could have written that, just add that my 2018 JL Rubi is also geared too high, that the gearings are too far apart, and my 1975 CJ shifted smoother.

I bought a bluetooth OBD2 reader on Amazon for $15 and paired ti with an app on my phone. That has worked well for me. I will plug it in tomorrow and see what I can see.

It's just that no one expects an old guy like me to be rooting...
I already whack my knee against the OEM t-case shifter. In this position it seems like it would be even more obtrusive.
It looks like you could install it in any orientation so long as it didn't interfere with the tranny shifter. I think it would be better oriented in the five O'clock position...
All theory and conjecture.
I live in central NY. My Jl is garaged, but my stock LED headlights have been iced over for most of the winter on my forty minute commute to work.
I scrape it off when I arrive. They are clean and clear before heading home, but when I get home, they are covered in ice...
