Daily 2 Door JL Pic, day.... 4? (most days actually skipped)

Most speculated the JL would do away with the unnecessary folding windshield "feature". To pretty much anyone's surprise, they not only kept the feature, but made it easier than ever!

more important than that is that new s e x y, and also safe, full factory rollcage incorporating the A-pillars--an area where JK and older owners often added strengthening measures.

Daily 2 Door JL Pic, day 5 (catching up)

Jeep Wrangler JL 2 DOOR JL build/order discussions master thread 2018-jeep-wrangler-jl-interior-rubicon

As we know, the new interior is fantastic, particularly in high-spec trim. The diff lock switch looks badass, window switches are still located off the doors (something I've always found cool in the few cars that do this), and rumor has it one day the bigass infotainment screen will contain Offroad Pages.

That new 6MT is a peach. Fun fact: reverse is now to the left of first, and requires pulling a shift collar to operate. This is because Jeep wants it to pretty much be impossible to "rock" a manual trans Wrangler offroad now.

Shifting the burden of proof... you're the one that rolled in with your entitlement complex. Put up or shut up. "All the facts I have seen about custom orders", whoa, where are those?? Let's see em!

Go ahead and find your Rights To A Custom Order and bring them here. We'll read them together. We'll see if Jeep has "breached your verbal contract", and if you'll have millions coming your way!

due to zgn bringing a bummer, wrong atmosphere here, I'll post a double, even triple dose of 2 door JL pics to the thread tonight to get spirits back on track.

They're coming soon! Probably!

Yeah Ryan! Thanks for the positive vibes. Brings me back to the initial excitement of the months of speculation before the big reveal at the LA Auto show. What a great day that was!

Hmm, okay, considering you haven't paid for the vehicle, that verbal contract ain't gonna do much for your order, which can get delayed at any time.

Oooh, publicly documented policy? About vehicle orders with a refundable deposit placed? Let's see it!

zgn, instead of remaining in-over-your-head on this lawyerball shit, let's talk about something more interesting. More Wrangler.

You own a 2001 TJ? That's cool! Probably the best Wrangler generation ever. All the modern without losing the old charm. Stamped steel panels, relic AMC parts, and the last gen of that beautiful, legendary four liter straight six.

I take it you've enjoyed that wondrous machine. :)

window switches are still located off the doors
Which calls for a humour post at my expense. When I bought my JK, it was intended, in part, to be a winter vehicle for the 08 Vette I then owned. Where I live, climate keeps Vettes off the road from November through March. I was initially annoyed with the window switch location on the JK and it took me a while to get used to it that first winter. Then come April, I took the Vette out of storage, and on its first trip, decided I wanted to roll down the window. Instinct made me go to the dash for the window switch where I pressed down on the first rocker switch I found and promptly shut off my engine.

blah blah blah...
We went back and forth over this crap two days ago. Clearly your "theory" doesn't match REALITY.
BUT... If, as you stated, "Your dealer [told] you that your order goes to the front of the line." then he was either mistaken (which you clearly do not believe), or that he intentionally misled you. There is your cause for action. Sue the person who made this 'verbal contract' with you.
Again, SHOW me those "STATED POLICIES"

I DEFY YOU!
Find an attorney and plead your case, in fact, help him (or her) and prepare the brief for this alleged "breach of contract". They will laugh at you, just like we are.

PLEASE -Give it up.
Troll someplace else.

Not that I really want to contribute to this retarded argument, but I have emails where my dealer says Jeep prioritizes sold orders to the front of the line...

But yeah, doesnt really matter, not like its actionable. The best I can do is ask for my deposit back, which im not going to do at this point.

Prioritizes, I'm sure they do, which is in no-way synonymous with "goes to the front of the line."

I want my 2D JL Rubi.
If I have to wait, so be it.
Sometimes life ain't fair.
But as soon as it arrives BAM! I'm posting a pic, then heading for State land!
