That didn't happen with 4 doors and it won't happen with 2 doors. The first production runs are not exclusively gonna be custom orders. Dealers need to stock up on shit to sell to the public, too.

I just told you why. You might not like it but that's just the way it is. Many brands don't do factory orders at all--Jeep would hardly lose sales dropping the option, and I like that they even do.

Jeep needn't justify anything. There's nothing guaranteeing how your order will be sequenced when you place an order (which is unpaid) with a small or zero deposit.
I understand that it's annoying and potentially unethical, but their obligation to build orders first, and in order, is zero. Hell, they decided to stall 2 door orders to make several thousand more profitable 4 doors first. They could cancel your order if they wanted to.
