Tempted by this white manual Rubi 4 door I test drove today .

Fortunately it isn't granite , no infotainment upgrade or leather, , no safety group, and it's 4 door. So I'll pass

Been there a week. Autos selling before they arrive. Manual.......sitting there.....

Key word estimate. My original build estimate was in February. The few soft top builds that have hit D1 have gone back to D. Of course things could have been sped up but it seems unlikely.

Below is the latest info I received on mine. It is from the online chat and I know how unreliable they have been but it does match up with the information from my FCA contact.

Vehicle may have been selected for additional quality inspections or held for delivery purposes At FCA, you can be assured that we take vehicle quality seriously. I have driven a manual sport and several auto sports and Saharas but no Rubicons close that I could drive yet. I like what I have seen so far though and the Rubicon can only be better.

Just called that 866 number again. Sounds like I went backwards. Now maybe it is
not on transporter . Should deliver 6--to--10 days. I really believe that none of the
info sites we go to has any real info at all. Last week I was on the transporter to
be delivered. I am just exhausted. I got to find the happy info

Yeah I am shutting down till I get notice that is has been build and shipped. Tired of the roller coaster ride of emotions.

I lost 8K. I don't drive as much as I have years back.

I'm trading my 2010 JKR on my JLR with 70k miles. Lost 6.2k USD compared to what I paid for it new 8 years ago.

I agree - I am not even counting on delivery before the end of June, as sad at that sounds.

You did excellent. My 8k includes all tax,fees etc.
My Rubicon order was 7.3% discounted.

It's unique to circumstances in Canada. The CAD and USD were worth about the same when I bought the JKR. Now, the USD is worth 28% more than the CAD. The bad news is that my original JKR listed out at $38K CAD where a similarly equipped JLR now lists out at around $50K CAD. So I pay considerably more for the new vehicle but take a smaller hit on the trade-in since it's value is similarly affected by the drop in our dollar.
