You are ordering the CLASSIC !!!!! I considered it long and hard because I wanted desperately manual locks and windows on my JL but in he end the Rubi won out on "value" (I can rationalize anything!).Whole lotta Rubicons... you guys have deep pockets. I ordered the base sport. I added A/C and the anti slip rear axle.Whole lotta Rubicons... you guys have deep pockets. Anyone planning on a base, Sport (not S) like me?
that makes you my build buddy! (if you have the 6MT)I ordered the base sport. I added A/C and the anti slip rear axle.
I got a massive, massive raise at work last month, and could easily afford a Rubicon now, but I don't even want to. I want that classic Jeep feel! I don't even wanna spec up to the S!You are ordering the CLASSIC !!!!! I love the punk’n color man. Look forward to seeing them in the wild. Smart that they went with the silver dash instead of trying to put the red in there. If I didn’t order silver it would of been punk’n.
Standard Rubicon wheels that will be powder coated prior to me taking delivery. These are not currently available to order from the factory in a black finish.Someone explain these wheels to me. why do i not see them on the order page and never had the option for all black when I ordered
It is quite a dog. I would put it up in the running for slowest vehicle ever and it would likely win. Then your 3.8 Pentastar must be a dog, because I had a brand new 2014 Tacoma 4wd access cab with 4cyl and 5 Speed and it was one of the slowest vehicles I have ever owned.
My mistake calling it a pentastar but his taco is a single cab part time 4wd with a full tool box which still kicks the ass of my 2 door JK with the rear seat removed and no cargo.Couple things here
1: That truck was probably a single or access cab, and/or 2wd, which would greatly help it feeling powerful or not slow.
2: Pre-2012 JK's did not have a Pentastar motor, as it did not exist yet. They had a 3.8L shitty 90's minivan-sourced motor (pushrod 2 valve I believe) that had 215hp, and that 4 speed auto was a power-robbing dog. The JK truly sucked in my mind until 2012.
