Ryan, go to the Thread, Order tracking for your Jeep Wrangler. Page 1, will explain, the spreadsheet was free back in Dec. when I ordered. Subsequently, the sheet opened and closed, now a paid subscription. $20.00 reopening in May, check the thread, research. The spreadsheet is password protected.

The spreadsheet is for people who were added the last time tracking was open. Keep a close eye on the tracking threads for the announcement for them to add more people in the next round.

Hey James, I said the same thing to my dealer Thursday evening, after four days of no response from his FCA rep. My order date 12/13/19, Rubicon hardtop. Three months in D. So of course the dealer calls at 8:00 today, and supposedly I’ve moved to D1 with a ship date 5/5.I want to be cautiously optimistic, but all the rumors of 30K in backlog JLs...who knows.

I am truly happy for you.

Look, I have been patient (almost 3 months patient in hoping to hear any news it might get built!), but the whole point was 1) a new stripper Rubi on an epic road trip from Boise down through Utah (hello Moab), the 4 corners, with final destination Austin and 2) Jeep Jamboree with my graduating daughter May 17-19 in Palo Duro for a daughter/dad life moment before she disappears forever to college and adult life. When I ordered, that was NO PROBLEM and since that time it has been a steady stream of bad news.

So, I have tried to keep my chin up and I have not once called Jeep anybody, other than my dealer twice, but good lord I only have so much positivity in me. If I am going to get a JL and have to make that drive in the Summer with a million tourist at the National Parks and miss Jeep Jamboree with my baby girl, I might as well have bought the damn machine in Austin or a Texas dealer offering good discounts.

And on top of that sad tale, what really tweaks my nads is the very fact that 4 doors keep getting pumped out with LEDs and all kinds of crap loaded on them but for some reason LEDs and PSTs are restricted??? Like you didn't think people would order soft tops on Jeeps and upgraded lights? Just a touch of 2 door love would be nice.

As I mentioned, I do not believe all the crapola I hear on the forum, info spewed from dealer's mouths, from Chat, JeepCares, etc..

Yes, there are a few Jeep dealers in my local area and each one has at least 6 JLU's on the lot and more on the way. (listed on their websites as in transit) Indeed, they have no JL's but, we do know that the JL (2dr) is moving down the plant assembly line.

I suggest Jeff, that you start occupying your time by RTFM, etc..

Spend time learning about the JL/JLU that you will soon be piloting,

Forget getting caught up in all the crapola, in the many many 2dr threads on this forums / this combined thread. Also, don't gobble up all the crapola your read here as it is absolutely nonsensical to do so.

By the way, I practice what I preach, which is evident by the many forum posts I make. In my posts, I parrot back all the info I have gleaned from the manual, and forum threads that are worth a chitt...which this thread is not.

Btw, thanks for the link. The first 5 pagesof the manual are very interesting !!! Lol now I’ll go and work on my bumper sticker for when my jeep arrives!

I have a 3/7 order for an ocean blue rubicon. You are WAY ahead of me. Looking at 4 door forums, seems turn around is 3-6 weeks (some are longer). The 2 doors will open the gates, hang in there

I believe it more then what jeep chat is telling us. Have you visited any jeep dealers lately? There are 5 dealers I have to drive by on a weekly bases. So of course I do,a quick cruise of the parking lot and back lots to see if I can spot a punk'n metallic jeep. The one thing I noticed at all the dealers is, none of them have a lot of jl's 2 or 4 dr .well no 2's at all and only a few 4 drs, but they all had a few dozen jk's on the lot. So something is definitely holding up the JL's

Production on 2 doors started 4/9, as opposed to January for 4 doors. A little patience will go a long way

Sounds like they're clearing out the 2 door backlog pretty quickly. Maybe there weren't a shitload of orders.

Once I order, which should be in a few weeks, sounds like I won't have to wait forever. Maybe.

that’s what i was talking about in an earlier post - estimating only 5-10k orders for 2 doors , which should pump through in under two weeks or so - does not include estimate of additional 40-50 thousand to dealers in coming months (at rate of 6-7k per week, which lets them wrap up before september)
