HEAR YEE HEAR YEE TO ALL!!!! Jeep Wrangler JL 2Door production HAS STARTED today 4-9-2018!!!
I have a friend at the factory that just called me to confirm this HAS STARTED.
They told me to post this info on Wrangler Form.

Can you inquire on the initial production with the 3.6 2 door?

So I cancelled my order (waiting for 2019 hopefully 2-door Sahara!) but it's still moving through the system, so I checked on it to help everyone else get a frame of reference.

Ordered 2/28 - still in D, no ship date
Rubicon 6-speed, black hardtop, leather, heated, infotainment, towing

Best info I've seen from Jeep Chat so far!

Just talked to Jeep customer service. They said I'm still in D status, I order 2-28. Did ask if the 2 door had started production, they said yes.

I ordered 12/15, 2 dr, soft, v6, auto. Still in D and told 2 drs will stat mid April early may. Clueless!

For what it's worth ... I inquired this morning with my dealer on the status of my 2/12 order. Response was that the General Manager called the Regional Rep who advised the 2-Door production won't start until May 1.
The lack of consistent information on this is unbelievable....

I double checked with Jeep chat today and according to them I am in D1. Ordered early February.

What I have posted as to the JL 2Door production started today is by all means TRUE!!! I will not reveal my sources
as I told them so. I called Jeep Corporate this morning 9:30am. They could not confirm the build has started. Then at
1:45pm THEY called me back to confirm production started today. I do know the people at corporate HQ and they also
told me to post the start on Wrangler Form. They wanted to let all of us know it has started. Believe me they did not BS me
and IF THEY DID I will post their private phone numbers and all of you can call everyday.

Any word on why the delay? Any word on priorities? Any word on parts shortages?

Add me to the D1 list. Dealer just notified me today that I moved from D to D1. Estimated ship date 4/28/18

Ordered 12/23. 2dr Rubi, firecracker, HT, MT, Colormatch fenders, cold weather, LED.
