I'm fairly certain I read that it'll be solid axle to be a direct competitor to the Wrangler.

My first sighting- JLU Rubi, black w/red dash, at a dealership today. Sat in it and started it up, but no time for a drive. All I can say for my fellow 2-door comrades is it is worth the wait. Fucking niiiiiiiiiiice!

OK, I sat in a 4dr black fully loaded, (they wanted 56k!!!) they are definitely sweeeeeeet.

So,.....you know,.....I'm really trying to be patient here,.......sold the RZR,......Modded the shit out of the MH,.....and I've run out of things to tinker with,......I have a huge hole in my garage right now where pull off parts should be, and if it stays that way much longer, I know the wife will fill it up with useless crap,....

Reading some of the posts gives me a little more patience though,....
I really hope the wait is worth it,.....I also really hope we don't get socked with pushed out post production recall issues,....
Anyway,...gives the aftermarket a chance to get things dialed in I guess,....

I posted earlier that I had to admit a tinge of jealousy when I saw you go to D1 this week, but this is truly bad news. I know this is your second time being notified of D1 status, only to have the rug pulled out. I've just had that happen once, but that was enough to know it's hugely disappointing.

On the positive side, I don't think this reflects another change in production schedule. The last time round, when we both went to D1, we were kicked back to D because FCA cancelled their Feburary production start. This incident looks more like a data error. It looks like your old D1 status was incorrectly being reported as your current status. I say that because the last event date in the tracking spreadsheet was Feb 9 - the date we originally went to D1 and not a March date.

With the last false start, D1s for 2drs were assigned around a week in advance of scheduled production. Assuming the April 9 target date still holds, we should start seeing D1s for 2drs the week of April 1. Here's hoping we both get upgraded in a couple of weeks.

My JL Rubi 2 dr hardtop, 3.6 auto -- went D1 (finally) today (3-18-18). Now hoping that does not mean they are line scheduling a full month out!

sadly, i just went to chat and they now have a massive error showing me in “D” status for 23 days when in fact it has been months!

Update from last post of my friend who works for an FCA supplier here in Detroit. The 2 door has an issue where the body is slightly twisting after assembly. This is causing the hard top to not align correctly. Looks like this may be a stamping issue.
