I made it home finally. Lol. 20 hours out and 20 back, time for another oil change. Good time hunting in Illinois even though it poured most of the time. Saw alot of deer and basically wheeled everyday to get through the farms fields and a river crossing. My tree stand bent and I almost ended up falling. The manufacturer never welded the bottom.

Glad you’re in one piece! My husband gave up hunting when our daughter accused him of killing Bambi. Now we rely on the charity of others to taste deer sausage once in a while...

possibly, guess I will hang a test rope posing as a handle in the spot and go in myself and see what would actually help. maybe a paracord handle attached to the seat's metal hoops for carseat/dog leash. I bet there is something clever that can be done.
I would not recommend it for you. You’ll probably get stuck in the back and they’ll have to use the jaws of life to get you out.

My youngest doesn't like that I hunt but she also understands it as a benefit to the animals.

Fun day yesterday hitting the trails, with people much more experienced than me. I had the small Jeep, most of the others had 37's. Hit a bunch of 4 rated trails and the Jeep handled them like a champ

Thanks to all that served.

We had a quiet weekend in this week. Stayed at the hotel washing, polishing and waxing our jeeps. They were in dire need of a good cleaning. Adjusted the steering on the JK for jenn, still have some smog related check engine codes to resolve tho, ug. Due for scheduled maintenance on the JL too. Will it be 2 weekends in a row at the hotel for us? Maybe? Stay tuned for next weeks exciting episode!

Looks like a good trip all in all. Everything is better in a Jeep! Plenty of deer locally for meat. Also a belated thank you to you and all veterans for your service to our country!
