Those look like they fit great right away, I don’t see any of the usual wrinkles that need to tighten up.
They DO fit great. And really quite easy to put on. I’m very happy with them, Bartact did a great job!
Now I’m waiting on the pro lift, I can take my hardtop off since it’s getting cooler.
I DO regret not getting a soft top, but hopefully there will be some nice aftermarket ones coming soon. Anyone saw any? I checked with dealer a couple of weeks ago, Jeep not putting them out yet.

I'm waiting for a good soft top from Bestop. I really want their sunshade that rolls back when not in use.

Looks like next year. :crying:

OMG! Did u guys see this? I can see now how you can blow a truckload of $$$$ on after market stuff.
What is y’alls opinion? Is this comparable to the factory one?

Yeah that's the OEM top built by Bestop. I'm not paying that. I paid $450 for my LJ's top and I would top out at $750 for the JL's top. Any more than that and I'll be strapping a tarp to the top after pulling the carpets and maybe Rhino Lining the bed.

This is why I went soft top from the get-go. $595 at time of order. I like that. Really nice top too.

I love this place! I miss being in here as often as I used to. Life! So busy! Ugh. :giggle:Once winter hits & people burrow down a bit, maybe we’ll pick back up! :):fingerscrossed:
I haven't been around as much because I sent my laptop back to Lenovo for warranty issues over a month ago and I still don't have it back yet. I hate accessing the forum with my phone.

Agreed. Much nicer using a laptop.

If you had soft top you would wish you had hard top at times.

Hard top is better in winter, better for roof rack, cleaner "All off", Soft top is great in safari mode and better headroom, all the way down is amazingly klunky.

An old guy I used to know that was a long time Jeep rebuilder/seller used to always tell people "get the hard top, then you can add cloth stuff later if you need". He was probably right, but you cant really go wrong, both are good options in many ways

OK, I think I have a worse Jeep addiction than I realized...

Exhibit A: I’m going to a friend’s wedding this weekend. I decided 2 months ago that the smart choice to be rested and relaxed would be a short 50 minute flight each way rather than spending 8 to 10 hours fighting traffic over a 48-hour weekend. Makes perfect sense, right? But that was before I got my JL! This week I very seriously considered canceling my flight just to spend more quality time in that sweet, sweet Rubicon cabin.

Exhibit B: I found a lame excuse (having maybe forgotten something) just to go check on my JLR this evening. I think I just missed it... and it looked so darn good! It was really cool actually, because the crew at the parking lot apparently like it too: they had surrounded it with orange cones to make sure it wouldn’t get scratched while brand new! Anyone who’s ever tried parking in NYC knows that this kind of TLC is not that common.

Anyway, now you know: I’m clearly infatuated!

What are you talking about, Jeff? Phone access rocks, especially since TJ said to lie it sideways!

Thanks, Gary, that DOES make me feel better. And I don’t really need a fancy soft top, just something to keep rain out if I’m caught on the trail.
