Passing day 135 now! Must be one of those Flinstones foot powered trains they put it on :)

But for real the orders are moving pretty fast now. Can't be much longer for most of us. If I recall people mentioned they are offering the incentives for people who had an order take >12 weeks?

Do the 2 door Rubicons have the same issue as the 4 door with throwing rocks on the hinge, or does the angle of the hinge and the fender block the rocks from hitting them? I'm debating getting the pre cut hinge protectors, but not sure if it is needed.

Told my wife I ordered her a black satin grill, she was not amused :cwl:. I already have a stack of stuff with more on the way, plus she about blew a gasket over the ceramic coating quote, so thinkin I just may put off buying those wheels I been looking at.

Also, last track shows my Jeep in the middle of Arkansas! Should hit Texas in the next day or two I imagine.

Mentioned to my wife on the Jeep whiskey Run outing I needed to get a winch, she was not buying it. But then a couple other Jeepers assured her it was needed, that and the drinks seemed to sway her a bit.

@Fred

Well, was at Ruge's today and another forum member (a gal) picked up her 2 dr., white, convertible, Rubi while I was there.

So, there are three of us locally with 2 dr. Rubi's.

By the way, she only waited 21 days from day of order to delivery day....

Hinges do get hit occasionally. I got the hinge protectors.

Where real problem is, is the rear fenders.. I just ordered Ace Sliders and hopefully they will save my painted rear fenders. So far the protective film has saved the paint..

How did you fit in it? I found the seats very comfy. Did 11 hours in it yesterday and must say i do like the seats a lot.
Head hits on left side protruding plastic on sports bar, and the hardtop has a hard buckle I can hit really hard on a bumpy road, knee hits window crank.

So, next model up gets rid of window crank, soft top gets rid of buckle... Looks like I could potentially pad plastic sport bar with something.

Probably would go auto to make the tight fit a lil smoother too. Soft top is not ideal, I have 2 big boxers and planned on putting kayak on roof rack. Maybe pad the release buckle too and stay hard top.

I wish they would cool it with the protruding plastic on the damn sports bar.

First ride home minus freedom panels.

Windy and she's wandering. Tires at 35.. Alpine stereo as all have mentioned is awesome and worth triple what you pay for it

I've found 37 psi is good for mine. She's steady as a rock even at 75 mph and easy to handle. Plus keeping her @ 37 will help get the best gas mileage I can squeeze out of her.

I got them. Cheap insurance.

Sadly, I got it because I'd rather have it and not need it than need it again and not have it.

I have used mine more for pulling bushes and other people out of ditches, but it's always a good security blanket to have. :like:

I70 was clogged going west today, so the wife and I turned around and went to Morison for lunch.

No Yankee Hill today. :crying:

Any more pictures? Be sure to put them in the new 2 door picture thread.
