Tell me about it! I've taken a huge step back on my expectations as far as delivery goes. I don't call the hotline, don't follow any tracking pages, don't contact my dealer. So much less stress. I'm just sitting back waiting for my dealer to call and say it's waiting for me.

I already told my work I'm taking a week off when it comes. I'll be taking a trip up to northern Maine and camping for a few days in the most remote crevice I can find.

That’s awesome. Good for you!!! I was going to take the day off for pick up, but I really like your idea. I may have to consider that.

I also don’t spend much time at all tracking anything. I only knew my build sheet popped up cuz my Jeep friend David told me; he kept an eye out for me while he was tracking his.
I let myself get all excited for every step of progress, but then I try to rein it back in & be realistic in the waiting game. It’ll happen.

know how you feel. my 5 years of child support payments ends november 11....... didn't think it was going to be a race between that and the arrival of my 2 door, but it appears to be..... here's hoping you don't freeze to death in maine that week

New Jeep and no support payments sounds like an amazing year! It has been unseasonably cold this year. I'll still be taking my doors and top off though. Just have to wear a jacket and probably gloves.

With that money saved from support just think of all the Jeep mods you can buy.

you know it. i'm at cap limit for texas so i'll be making the jeep payment, the wifes' range rover payment, and still have a couple hundred bucks left over a month. don't want to get older fast, but when november does come around, the celebratory dinner bill will be as high as i can make it at ruth chris

Cannot count the number of times i did just that with heat cranked in my JK, just to go naked

Hopeful the heaters in the JL as as efficient as the JK as (mine at least) really cranked the heat out, and rather quickly as well!

Today makes 3 weeks my 2 door rubicon has been built and sitting waiting to be shipped. I’ve stopped posting on here as much because it just reminds me of my frustrations. I will let you all know when I get it (send some happy thoughts). Sweet water and I are in identical situations.
