Not to be Debbie Downer but my dealer just told me he has three sold orders stuck in Brookfield for almost 3 weeks. Why is good news always followed with bad
Yeah, had lunch with my dealer today. He told me that a stock order 2dr wrangler is in transit while my pre-order sits in D1 purgatory. It's funny in a bad way...

Your wrong , have absolutely no data to back up your made up numbers and theory. Once again you have to respond to one of my posts with your nonsense.
Ummm, Warc1 has been one of the most accurate posters in this forum for quite some time. None of us can prove if what he said is true with 100% certainty. But, it's very reasonable.

The more I look at the experiences here the more I realize how random this all can be. Like, I put my order in March, but in process of doing a new order. I figure it will put me in the back of the line. Or will it? Who Knows, it’s like a grand mystery adventure!

While I wait for my ordered two door ( an agreement to buy in the first place that I would not break) I would never consider a four door no matter what the ride . Don't need room for stuff or want people in the back seat anyways. Plenty of room and actually more than I need in a two door with the back seat out. Plus the four door only looks like a Jeep from the front. Viewed from the side it may as well be stretched out farther with 6 doors! Imagine all the fun and storage you could have then! I and many others as pissed off as we are will wait for our two door to arrive. We prefer it not only for looks, but it is more capable off road in tight spaces. Not knocking the four door as it does have a place in the Jeep world, and it serves it well.
I would not consider a four door either. I love the traditional two door look and feel. I partly want to relive the days of my CJ-7, and I do have the luxury of my daughter graduating high school in a month, so I don't need the space for family reasons. But even so, I would still go with the two door.

Also, every once in a while I'll see a JLU out of the corner of my eye and mistake it for a Hummer, or vice versa. And the last thing I would ever want is to be mistaken for a Hummer.

Another call to jeep another escalation , i now have my ninth case number. how disorganized are they ? They cant even see in their own system that my jeep Has nine case numbers assigned to it? It would be funny if it wasnt frustrating so many of us.
Sounds just like Verizon.

Did you order a pst? If so, you should not even bother calling for a few weeks. You are not doing anyone especially yourself any favors. I'm not following up with Jeep chat, my dealer.. anyone. I'm just waiting for the call from my dealer to say it's there. Whenever that happens to be.

It's much more calming and I just focus on life .

She’s here! After placing my order back on December 23rd and all the delays, I can’t believe shipping actually went so quickly. Not even a week. I’m trying to free up my afternoon so I can go get her. Ahhhhhhhh!

Just another data point--I ordered back in early March. I knew mine had been built because I got a notification last week from the cryptosticker service that my build sheet and sticker were available, but nothing showed up on jeep.com about it being in transit. Then today my dealer called and said it was in. Picked it up a few hours ago...

For what it's worth, Cryptostickers sent me the emails my build and VIN had been found two days ago. As I have stated in previous posts, I couldn't wait any longer and went another route and won't be taking delivery. Maybe in 2019 I will look at them again. Having said that, there very well could be a 2dr Red Rubi up for grabs any day from Kim in Conway Arkansas. I called last month and told her I wouldn't be taking delivery and she said she would still call me when it comes in. It's best I don't go look at it as I would probably be working a deal and that's just not in the cards right now.

Build out is:

2 dr/Red/Painted top and Fenders/Leather/Infotainment/Cold Weather/Black Interior and yes, Manual tranny.

Yes, same here. My truck went into the shop yesterday and they gave me a 2Door 2018 Sahara JL as a loaner!
( sorry, couldn’t help that )
No, it’s a Unlimited 2016 Sport. That is still a win compared to the other choices. But, I knew it would be a P-I-T-A in my small yard. I have now confirmed that. So glad I went with a real Jeep on my order.

I am seriously considering replacing the Rubicon hood decal with “ Late Availability “ . Not a big fan of obvious or unnecessary labels, so it and the Wrangler labels are gone. I will keep the Jeep one, for now.
