The sales manager from my dealership just called. He said that I probably won't see my Jeep until August.
He said that if I switched to the turbo it may come in sooner but no guarantees.

Yeah i have been hearing that song and dance too. I think its the crap FCA is feeding the dealers and then its passed to customer. My dealer said the same thing and i was like o yeah, well what about all these no turbos in transit and people receiving them.

My son took this pic as we went through one of our wet lands (swamp). the grass has shot up and you can't see the standing water. This is southern Michigan and we don't have western state style terrain, so this is the best off road I can do on short notice.

Crossing my fingers that they get shipped soon. This issue though isn't one we can blame on FCA. There is a nation wide shipping crisis brewing. We need more truckers and less regulation. My work is feeling the pinch from it. We can't get our products shipped fast enough to meet deadlines established with our customers. It sucks.

This is true, my father is an auto transporter and the federal government is pushing more regulations affecting everyone from transporters to brokers. Some truckers even had to sell their rigs and get older rigs so that the government can't track their drive hours.

Called the 877 number and was told still in D1. When I said that I had ordered in December and politely asked if he could tell me anything, he said he would have to escalate and needed a few minutes to write down notes, the same name, address, & phone for the thousandth time. He came back in a few, and said mine was being built. When I asked for an estimated ship date, he said call back in a couple days. He said that 2 doors had a linkage issue and only started being built 10 days ago. Not sure if I got a good answer, but he was polite and tried to be helpful. Linkage is a new one for me.

Who else is getting jealous of those with D1 (and better) gripes?

18 weeks in D for me so far... I was really fine about that until some of you guys got yours built, or even just moved to D1. Now I’m envious!

Need some video of new 2 door deliveries. Give those of us stuck in pergatory a walk-through. (Especially of the cargo area, seat folded, seat out, and demo of turning radius.)

Build is in my signature. Yes, PST, and I know those are rumored to start next Monday... but others here with PST went D1.

My $0.02 is that calling and escalating doesn’t do anything. They set that line up, IMHO, to pay us lip service and make us feel valued. What better way than with super polite Canadians on the line? :cwl:

Saw where a 2 door red Rubi, black hard top with tan leather Seats, grey dashboard was in transit to Wendell NC about 15 miles from me? Can't wait for my Black Panther to arrive at Tri-city In Eden NC.
