Are y’all still waiting on the 2 doors?

What’s the delay!?!

At this point, I would’ve threw the towel in and bought a 4 door. More storage room and longer wheelbase. Seems to be a win-win?

.
Because it's just ugly. And not only that, it's ugly! But to top it off, it's UGLY!!!!

My opinion is that someone shut him off. Which is idiotic, but that’s FCA for you. Why allow any correct information out? Not their style, unfortunately. Their style is “no information”.
If he was shut down it most likely had to do with the company wanting to control messaging and their social media policies. Typical for large companies, seems even more so with ones on the stock market.

Not saying it’s good, bad, smart, or dumb. Just the way it is.

anyone hear from Drillionaire lately.
From other members comments recently, and my two unanswered posts regarding my D1 gate sequence position, no. Hope he is enjoying a vacation, and not suffering reprisals from Jeep for all his Forum member updates. ;(

Nope. He's either taking a break, been told to stop, or found the constantly increasing number of requests exceeded his breaking point.

Definitely could happen but I think if they show as in transit they are actually being moved. I wonder if the ones stored in big lots are shown as "in transit". I am expecting my Jeep and day now and more delays would be very sad .
I'm hoping in transit really is in transit. My dealer friend said that the factory actually had to rent space at the airport in their overflow parking lots. The issue ere is that if you think it's hard to locate a built order in their own parking lot, what kind of delays will be created by having to hunt down a build for transport in a new unmarked lot???? Not trying to be bring anyone down, it's just another hurdle FCA has thrown up for us to get our vehicles.

My (and my wife's) two door has been on the "road" now for two weeks and four days now, and I am hoping, really hoping, to see it this week. As near as I can tell it is the only one coming into the Pacific Northwest, at least to Seattle or Portland.

What I do think is interesting is that this "forum" has twice as many views of the next closest "forum" and about 10 times as many as most and it just started in January 2018. Almost 240,000 views wow! I hope someone gets their MS or Phd based on what is happening here and how FCA missed the opportunity to produce these mass customized Wrangler JLJL72s. I think we all custom ordered them, right?

Instead of all the potential purchasers thinking great of FCA and reaping the good will and rewards of this mass customization they have created 240,000 hits of customer sacrifice. Why would anyone who runs a successful company want to do this? I myself, once seated in the drivers seat and working in the reportedly tough to get in gear transfer case will probably forget that this was ever written but I do hope someone learns from this experience.

My question now is will the dealer honor the price we settled on in December 2017?
I'm sure your price will be honored. It's just too bad that you might not get your pre-ordered jeep until July or August, you know, right before they take orders for the 2019s. And you're right about ill will. I have had to rehash the story of how terrible Jeep has been to buy from to at least 10-15 people. I see friends and their first question is, "Where's your jeep?". So, yeah, Jeep definitely gives 0 craps about customer satisfaction.

Crossing my fingers that they get shipped soon. This issue though isn't one we can blame on FCA. There is a nation wide shipping crisis brewing. We need more truckers and less regulation. My work is feeling the pinch from it. We can't get our products shipped fast enough to meet deadlines established with our customers. It sucks.

This prompted me to read a few articles and.... wow, yeah messy. Shortage of drivers, rising costs to shipping, and delays all over. One article noted shipping is running at 99 percent capacity.

My build day is supposed to be today. I know we're trying to be patient but I think I've reached the limit of where my patience can take me, heres to hoping it gets done this week
