Did Sweet Water finally get his jeep finally? Haven't seen him in a couple of days lol

So, my dealer is a personal friend and I was over at his house for CIno De Mayo last night. He told me he has 2 JLUs (I know this is a 2dr thread) that have been built and are sitting in the lots at the plant for over a month each. He thinks there is a rail car shortage. That wouldn't surprise me at all. But, that will be the next issue when our Jeeps are built. Again, this is not confirmed, but those vehicles are confirmed built and sitting.

Definitely could happen but I think if they show as in transit they are actually being moved. I wonder if the ones stored in big lots are shown as "in transit". I am expecting my Jeep and day now and more delays would be very sad .

If we put our build specs, order date and status in our signature it may be helpful to those of us (such as myself) obsessed with analyzing every bit of evidence we can scratch for some indication of when we will gt our Jeep.

That's pretty close to where mine is going. Maybe they needed to build up a certain amount of stock before actually sending them.

FCA withheld the specs intentionally so that MOPAR could capitalize on the new changes for JL. You could "try" to see if you can change your order now. But, if you want to add anything to your jeep for the immediate future, you only have the MOPAR parts to choose from until the other vendors catch up...

Yeah I talked to one of the guys from jcr on the phone and they were still waiting for their 2dr to come in , so they could start designing for it.

@Fred I got the updated estimated build date by having my dealer pull my POC again. Do you have an estimated built date yet ? They are a small/medium size dealer in CT, so I think that plays into my now early-June estimate of delivery.
