2 Door Auto or Manual???

What is the best color for a manual? I'm thinking red.

This is a good question as most people don't realize that the color of the 2dr really affects the over all driveability of the jeep...in 2 or 4 door configuration. After driving the jeep in all color variations and reading all the extensive research done by the law firm of dowecheatem and how, the clear winner and best color for over all performance goes to...PUNK'N! I went with the 8A this time around. It is an amazing transmission, and truly transforms the personality of the 3.6 V6. All that said, I kinda regret not just ordering a manual.

8 speed outperforms manual in every measurement.

But needs a complex computer and wiring harness.

It also needs a cooler and adds heat underhood.

The manual is dead nuts simple, reliable and more fun to drive.

Pick one and enjoy.

That is what I got and I love it.........Although mine is a Htop.

I’m considering a 2 door Rubicon, manual with soft top. I’m also finding this combination rare. I have no problem ordering it but have one question. Has anyone been concerned about reselling this combination down the road?

I have always been a supporter of the manual transmission in any vehicle. However, I cannot recommend the manual transmission with the JL. It’s not the feel of the transmission, but the gear selection FCA used and the horrible OEM tune. It saps the fun out of driving a manual.
