I’ve got 73,000 miles on my 2020 2.0 wrangler. Noticed the recommended mileage to change plugs was at 60,000. Anybody replaced their plugs yet? How much crap had to be removed to get to them? What brand plugs did you use?

Easy, take off engine cover and they are directly accessible.

Just be cautious threading them back in using a little anti-seize.

If you do them snap some pics of the electrode. Curious if the get bad pitting.

I know the 3.5 ecoboost recommends high mileage change intervals but at 35k the are pitted to the point the gap is actually about double what it should be. Has me wanting to do mine with only 31k on them.

The spec sheet is from NGK for this part number. The torque spec is at the bottom of the 2nd screen shot. The second screen shot is from over on the Alfa Giulia 2.0 forum, (different cyl head but same plug) an Alfa tech based in Italy. He says 168 in lbs/14 lb ft.

Use a torque wrench where the spec given is closer to the top of the torque wrench’s range for best accuracy.

Anyone know of aftermarket plugs that are compatible with the 2.0? Finding OEM ones is quite difficult right now.

Search for NGK 90219. They're available from a variety of vendors. Yes, OEM.

I just did the plugs on Sunday, NGK 90219 is the way as Heimkehr said. I torqued to 13ft lbs and didn't have any issues. Just be careful if you pull the battery cable from the negative terminal, I probably left it unplugged too long and created another headache with the AUX battery.
