I’ve tried looking for answers but can’t quite find what I'm experiencing. Last week my Jeep (2018 JLU 2.0 eTorque) while I was in traffic, threw up an “auto start/stop stopped working” message. Yellow @!. Then when that occurred the jeep began to shake as it was in idle. I then stepped on the throttle and the jeep shook more and I accelerated very slowly as it shook more. I immediately looked for a spot to park and turned off the jeep. Sat for a few moments as I searched online what the heck had just happened. I learned about the battery and the aux battery underneath the battery, that mine does not have because it has the 48V battery system.
Anyways I sat for about 5 minutes and then turned on the jeep, engine light and @! Light was gone and I went in my way. It didn’t happen again until this last weekend. So I replaced the battery under the hood and it still does it. Nothing has changed. My voltage read on screen is 14.3V as it read with the old battery. If I turn the jeep on the message will be off but if I let the jeep idle it begins to shake and then boom check engine light appears and the start/stop message comes up again.
Does anyone have an experience where the 48V battery has been the fault ? Got it replaced? Have any other things to check ?

I have a '19 2.0T ETorque with a little over 43k miles that does this when I idle for over 5 minutes as well. I bought it last April with 27k miles and I discovered it a few months later.
What I do now is I never disable the auto stop-start and don't idle over 5 minutes and it never happens. However, it is easy to reproduce if I drive a bit then park and idle.

I do believe the ETorque system has a standalone 8 year warranty so if it becomes more persistent/closer to that expiring I will have to reluctantly turn it over to a dealer for a fix.

From my research here on the forum, it seems like you need to take it back and forth to the dealer while they test your battery and tell you it's fine. Eventually they replace the main battery but you still have the issue until you can finally convince them to replace the 48 volt. This does seem to permanently resolve the issue for people that have the patience to go through the steps.
