I would attempt to get the shop place to reimburse you for the fenders. That's unacceptable.

the most he will do is refund the job. The PPF, tint and ceramic coat is fine. The catch with the refund he wants me to sign a non disparagement agreement. So he is paying for me to be silent
Go get your refund!

I guess then if the rest of the work is good, I would definitely take the refund and go get new fenders on your own.

sucks this happened and I'm laughing at spending $3k+ on paint protection. This isn't a Ferrari.

If it was me I would take the win on free services and get aftermarket fenders. Metal cloak fenders are about $1,000. I'd happily take my jeep into them knowing this was the outcome. I'd give them a 5 star review. But I was also rubbing my hard top on trees before I got my permanent plates and I have more pin striping on my jeep than can possibly be counted.

While I would also be extremely upset, I agree with posts urging you to take the refund. If I were in the market to have the same job done, I would absolutely take my JL to the same place because they obviously care about righting a wrong...I think they are going above and beyond, really. Take the refund, get whatever fenders you want, blow the rest on whatever you want and delete this thread (so as to not disparge). I'd give them 5-star reviews all day long after such an experience.
You got a ton of FREE WORK done and now thousands to spend. No brainer.

i WISH i had this problem. New fenders cost way less than $3100. My jeep had about 1200 miles on it when I destroyed my fenders on a trail, so personally I wouldn't even bother with new fenders, but if I did I'd do something low profile. High profile? Whichever one gives the most room for uptravel lol. I think I plan on getting some KBD ones someday, since they seem like they'll be super tough on the trail.

All things considered, if I were you I wouldn't be upset at all. You're getting a lot of free money out of their mistake. People make mistakes, I'd only be upset if they weren't willing to own up and make it right.
