Thinking about adding some spacers to my stock XR wheels on my 392. Everything is stock just looking for a little bit more aggressive stance until I get some miles on these and have a good excuse to go to larger wheels and tires.?

from my research, it looks like Bora is the go to brand. Anyone have any experience with these or suggestion for another brand to look into before pulling the trigger?

Thanks for your help has been great

I have the Bora spacers, and think they are excellent. Whatever you do don't buy anything cheap off of Amazon. The concentricity and valance of the spacer is very important.

I highly recommend you use blue Loctite on the spacers. You can get them off if you need to, but you never want one of them to come loose. Torque them properly also.

two best are Spidertrax and BORA both made in the USA. seems like 1.75 on XR wheels would really stick out there. I am running 1" BORA on stock Rubicon wheels and for me it is about perfect.

Hey did you ever get these put on, I put 37s on my xr and now I’m deciding if I should get these or bite the bullet and get new wheels, if you have any pics I would really appreciate it

I'd avoid too much "poke". It can quickly go from that's-a-great-stance to a roller skate look if you get too aggressive.

I think you have to go 1.75” to avoid cutting the factory bolts off, not planning on going any further than that

Mine are 1.75 and no cutting of the studs. With the Xr flare extensions it is about perfect imho. Just barely outside the flare

I am running 1" Bora spacers and no issues with factory bolts, on factory wheels there is a pocket on the backside of the lug holes. I used clay to check the clearance and I have plenty of clearance.

How does that work, wouldn’t the bolts stick out past the spacer, I haven’t measured the factory bolts yet but I would assume they are longer than 1”

Borrowed the picture from another post to help you visualize it. .
The recess pockets allow spacers less than 1.75" with out trimming the studs. I run 1.25" Bora. Great product.
