I have a 2 door rubicon that i've outfitted for overlanding.
lift, winch, skids, roof top tent, etc....2 people, plus all my gear for a few days. I'm running Metalcloak Game Changer 3.5" lift (upgraded front drive shaft) with 35" tires. Stock gearing.
the Gross Vehicle Weight is 5,250 lbs...
for those of you that have installed this Procal, hoping you can help me figure out how to identify the right holes on the back of the ORBI connector to plug in the two terminals of the harness.
As you can see in the screen shot of the instructions, I need to put terminal 9 and 1 into the left...
Just bought 7" LED lights for my front bumper. See the big wiring harness that comes with it. I plan on wiring them into my AUX switches but not sure what to do with all these other things- switches, fuses, etc... Do I just cut this stuff off and wire right into the AUX wiring under the hood? Thanks
I just upgraded my front drive shaft when I installed my lift, and that got me wondering if I should upgrade my rear driveshaft? wondering which one takes more stress?
then I was wondering what the weak links in the Jeep driveline might be (welds, knuckles, shafts, etc...). Realize that this...

if so, where did you mount it? I'm thinking of the front speaker on the driver's side by your knee...

Posting as an FYI if this can help someone.
I need to run a wire from my ARB fridge in the back to the aux battery in my Genesis Dual Battery set up. See pics.
Inside the engine bay on the drivers side you will find a black cap on the fire wall. This just pops off with a pull with some...
finally got the 3.5 lift installed with ADS remote reservoir shocks with compression adjustment. Very happy with how it came out. Ride is much better than stock. not as wallowing over road bumps, much of the body roll is gone, a bit stiffer but ride quality is quite good. you could argue that I...
Really happy with these 17" wheels and the way they look. Method makes a very nice wheel. Love the finish and quality. Tires are LT35/12.5R 17. Many places were sold out of these KM3s (including Amazon) but found them at Walmart.com.
I used the Mopar, oversized reinforced tire carrier kit to...
I am ready to pull the trigger on the LOD rear destroyer bumper but am wondering if it will work with my Gobi rack attachment points around the bumper. Anyone running this set up?
thanks

After nearly a three month wait. Love it!
The "Explorer" model that has the storage "inset" area on the roof for extra cargo.
I plan on installing a hoist in my garage for easy on and off installation.
Special thank to the guys at Rhino Adventure Gear (Fremont, CA) who installed it for me.
I have a two door soft top. The maximum cargo weight listed on the sticker on the door, including passengers, is only 700 lbs. Wondering how important this weight limitation is? Is if for the tires or driveline or axels or all the above? For those of you that are using your Jeeps for overland...
I came across this idea online in another forum. This is an easy way to install and remove the roof top tent on the jeep by myself. I'm awaiting delivery of a Joseph Baroud Explorer hard shell tent in a few weeks which weighs 145 lbs.

So I got tired of waiting for a company to make a rear cargo shelf for the 2 door. I bought the Hooke Road cargo rack which was larger than the Ace rack. I found a metal fabricator who made a bracket that lifted the basket higher (so I could fit the ARB fridge underneath) and also allowed me to...
After 16 week wait time I finally got my rack and installed it yesterday. Did it by myself as you can tell from pics. Excellent build quality, instructions, and fit. I had two questions during install and Gobi was very responsive. Very happy with the way it turned out. James Baroud hard shell...
