The exact reply I was going to put.

As one of those "friends" I suggested he left them that way to begin with.

If getting the plasti dip off and then redoing it wasn't such a giant pain in the ass, I really would before I come up there

Well this past weekend I tried to install the Pro-X bottom mount drag link from rockkrawler and ran into an issue. I’ve got my steering stabilizer on this fox/aev mounting bolt (https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/track-bar-brackets/803-02-028-fox-racing-track-bar-bolt). When I turn driver, the drag link contacts the end of the bolt and I can only turn about 30% of the way. Of course i was frustrated and put it back to stock before thinking to grab a photo of it hitting, but here’s the setup.

Thankfully for me, @Roky ran into this same issue before and already has a solution worked out. So i've got the MC axle side stabilizer mount ordered, and should just have to slightly mod it to make it work. Here's hoping it works for me like it did @Roky.

Well I finally have a lifted jeep. Thanks to @Remorseless giving me a crazy deal, I got JKS 2.5" coils and front and rear LCA's, and some Fox 2.5's put on Saturday. It all went fairly smooth after i wasted an hour putting the jeep in the air, pulling the front tires off, and trying to drop the axle out enough to get the old springs out, just to realize that my 3 ton jack stands were too short for that. So put it all back together and got some taller 6 ton stands from autozone, and started over. Then after struggling with springs a little bit, @gek suggested taking the control arms off first, then pulling springs, replacing control arms, then springs, and then shocks. Seeing as he's basically an expert at swapping axles now, I did just that and it worked way better. After that it was smooth sailing.

Its riding great so far. I want to dial out some small bump sensitivity if I can. I still have a new drag link and stabilizer bracket ala @Roky to do, but replacing both front brake lines a few weeks ago seems to have taken care of my darting under braking issues.

My 35's look small now.
