When i'm driving the button is not litWas none of the advice in your previous thread helpful? A lotta folks tried to help. You mentioned stepping on the gas & nothing happened, but you have to disengage the clutch (I also have a manual).
Does the button near the climate controls light up?
You mention 'new' but you have an 18 MY. Still somewhat new, but did it recently stop working?

Ok... but when you press it... I'm guessing nothing happens. Have you pressed the clutch pedal? If you have and nothing happens, then the guys who mentioned getting the ESS battery replaced in the first thread yesterday are most likely correct... they know what they're talking about. Several owners have experienced the same.When i'm driving the button is not lit
I asked about the message on the dash in my post above as that’s what was showing when my auxiliary battery needed replacing. But we’re not getting a response.
@melendez69
Did you put larger tires on it? Without the Tazer JL compensating, mine will have an error and shut itself off at 36mph.I have a Rubicon 2018 with manual shift and the ESS does not work. What might be the issue
I doubt GPS, but maybe. Honestly, I'm not sure, but when the Tazer is not there or when no correction is programmed, it does it like clockwork at about 35mph. Shuts it down until it is shut off completely. Then it resets until I hit 35mph again. The dealership said it was the larger tires, and it makes sense because it did this right after the 35's were installed.How does your jeep know it has larger tires? is it thu GPS tracking?

I didn't regear. Only went to 315's. When I run the Tazer and adjust tire size to correct the speedo, it works as it should. When the Tazer is unmarried, it does it 100% consistently. No biggie because I run the Tazer all the time. Besides, I hate the ESS, so whether disabling with the Tazer or the error, I'm gtg.Look at post 22 in this thread.

Or you Can see the directions to correct for this here:

If you regear or add larger tires and get the ESS not working (and no backup camera either) the above fixes it. You do need to separate the negative terminals from each other, not just remove them (but still connected to each other) from the negative post.
It’s all good. This process works with changing tire size too, if anyone ever wants to run w/o the Tazer.I didn't regear. Only went to 315's.
