Lol...is this guy a hoot or what.

Yeah sure buddy

Edit** The reason why Wranglers even have stabilizers is because it is IMPOSSIBLE to dial in the steering perfectly(or even close enough) because of its design. Stabilizers on a Wrangler are just as neccassary as water to a fish. ONLY "fix" is to redesign the steering component(as a whole). However, you do that and you'll have to redesign everything else around it. Now your screwing with(or changing) its OFF-ROAD capability.
Again you're proving your ignorance. I dialed in my suspension and steering without a damper. It drives pretty damn well. Once I had everything tweaked I added the damper back in to the system.

Dont even know what your point is anymore.

You can "dial" in the entire Jeep without the damperer only to put it back afterwards...what's your point guy.

MY point is, for on road driving the Wrangler needs one(of course "need" is subjective)

My point is you keep stating your opinion as fact. People that are having real steering issues are not going to fix them by adding a fancy damper. Yes, I can drive my Jeep with 2 fingers on the highway without a damper. My point is you don't know what you're talking about.

Obviously a Jeep nube with a "it's a Jeep thing" complex.
Don't feed the little troll....

This isn't his first rodeo here....he was already banned once. He just made a new account with a new user name.

Same story as last time...inflammatory comments, lots of bravado and unsupported opinions.

I suspect he's not long for this forum with this new user name based on his inability to self-regulate.

All that, and I suspect he's probably not a bad guy in person....online, he seems very much like one of those people who are trying a little too hard to prove themselves for whatever reason.....

But...that's just my attempt at arm-chair psychology. It could just be that he's a jerk. Beats me. :)

Any how, I think you guys get all upset over nothing. If you hate the way a Jeep drives, ditch the damn thing. If you don't mind it, keep it. If it drives you fucking crazy like an ex, but the sex is so damn good you keeping knocking on their door, then only you can decide if that 15 minutes of excitement is worth the misery of the other 23 hours and 45 minutes:CWL:

Good luck:like: O and that was free advice. Any more and I have to start charging:rock:

Wait, your telling me it wandered brand new but then it began driving straighter after some break-in mileage??:CWL:

You folks are really getting comical.
Yes. I am saying that. I believe it was the exact wording, in fact. It’s my 4th wrangler, so I feel I’m pretty versed in how they drive. Something was squirly for a few days and someone how it changed. I could physically see the wheel moving at one point.

That’s my experience- and the reality of the situation.

Interesting thread. Don’t know if anyone in this thread reads consumer reports but I just got my latest issue today. The Jeep Wrangler scores a 12 out of a 100. Main issues were steering, suspension and electronics. We just bought a new 2018 Wrangler Sport last month and no issues so far. Hope it stays that way.

2019 MOAB 2" Mopar lift 35's, been to the service center 5 times in under 1000 miles for serious wandering/floating issues ( NO DEATH WOBBLE). They replaced the steering box, didnt change anything. So I put in adjustable track bar and LCA with the synergy bracket. Still wanders and has a dead spot from 10-2. Im about to lose my mind. Btw this is my 4th wrangler so please dont tell me its a "Jeep Thing". Ive had a CJ-7 and 2 YJ's. None of them wandered like this at all. In fact, my cj was a pleasure to drive with a racho lift.
