Steering/Wobble/Wandering/Buyback

2019 model. Mine wanders around and is lost as a hooker at a star wars convention. Sometimes when I go over an expansion joint on bridges, the wheel will shake like willow tree in an Oklahoma tornado. Does it piss me off? Sure. Do I regret buying it at this point? Of course. It's a stock vehicle with zero mods done to the suspension.
However, I'm going to take it to the dealership and get the recall done on it and *hope* that that fixes it. If it doesn't, then I'll probably vote with my wallet and trade it in for something that doesn't cause me angst when I drive. I understand anyone who is frustrated by buying something that doesn't meet our expectations, but we are lucky that these things have high trade in values and we able to get out of them without murdering our finances.

Get your damper replaced (it won't fix anything), then go back and get your taco bar replaced (this should help) then go back and get your steering box replaced. You have to be persistent and do them 1 at a time.

V41 wont fix jack bud.
Do urself a favor and get yourself the Fox ATS or Tereflex adjustable. FCA will reimburse you for it(as long as you dont have dealer put on the "new" recall stabilizer)
Adjustable Fox or Tereflex stabilizer will change everything trust me...and you'll be reimbursed for it. Costs you nothing. Good luck

The recall really toned down my play. But, being raised on a farm, I've driven some crazy shit. So the steering issues is no bother to me. But, hey, it's your money. If you're not happy, trade it in

Of course it will...adjust to highest setting, just to the point where the steering wheel still returns to center.(or beyond if one chooses)
....wont fix it I agree, but will greatly improve it.

Referring to an adjustable stabilizer like the Fox ATS?
Helps with death wobble, shimmy and wander. More you turn up the resistance the less of mentioned you will get.
Dial-in lowest setting and you'll be all over the road trying maintain the rig....dial-in the highest setting and the Jeep will track so straight it's not even funny.
Wind, big rig trailers, etc..will GREATLY improve drivability. If you think otherwise do yourself a favor and stop thinking.
What else you think adjustable stabilizers are for? Lol

Again, that's not fixing anything. If your suspension and steering are dialed in you really don't even need a steering damper. Those issues need to be addressed BEFORE installing a high quality damper.

Edit** The reason why Wranglers even have stabilizers is because it is IMPOSSIBLE to dial in the steering perfectly(or even close enough) because of its design. Stabilizers on a Wrangler are just as neccassary as water to a fish. ONLY "fix" is to redesign the steering component(as a whole). However, you do that and you'll have to redesign everything else around it. Now your screwing with(or changing) its OFF-ROAD capability.
