Next to Yeti probably the beefiest on the market.

Stock like bushings that are maitenance free.

$150 or less
You're joking right? How many of these track bars have you held in your hands to make that claim?

If Synergy's had been out when I purchased mine, I probably would have gone that route since everything else I have is Synergy. :). I went with the Teraflex and I'll tell you, it is an awesome track bar.

All minus the Synergy between JK and JLs. Have you held or installed a RC track bar? Very heavy.
RC is not exactly synonymous with quality, but to each his own. RK is lifetime warranty for a reason. I realize you had a bad experience with them in the past. Their stuff is top notch now and has been for years. Excellent customer service too. The pinch joint adjusters are convenient, but nowhere near as strong as jam nuts.

I agree that RC tends to be low on the totem pole. However, they make a great track bar.

So researching the synergy, the bushings they use look amazing, might go with the synergy track bar. Check these videos out

Unless things have changed since I last considered poly bushings (I do realize things change quickly), poly tends to squeak and develop memory, eventually developing voids and causing clunking. Also, trackbars don’t really articulate, the supposed benefits of the bottom video would be useful for control arms, but not really beneficial (or harmful) for a trackbar.

I’ll take a track bar with rubber bushings, please.

good point, so you think the metal cloak, teraflex, or steersmart are best?

Damn, you just cost me $100! While researching my answer, I looked at TeraFlex’s IR bushings and they are perfect for this application; their ability to rotate without binding should reduce wear and tear. They even have a lifetime warranty.
I was going to get a Rubicon Express trackbar ‘cause it should be a good quality trackbar with rubber bushings, but I really like the concept of TeraFlex’s rotational bushings for $100 more.

Metal Cloak’s screw-together bushings will be easy to replace, but I suspect TeraFlex’s bushings will require replacing far less frequently. Since I’ll keep my JL for 10+ years and do occasional heavy ‘wheeling, I’ll try the TeraFlex.

Yes. I'd go with it over some of those on the list.
Wow! Quick response. Thank you. As you can see from my post count, I’m new to the site. I just ordered my first Wrangler and I’m trying to do my homework for making it my own. With that I’m heading to the Intro forum for proper introductions.
