Here is a list of the top TRACK bars, with links to info, and quick notes. Please vote on favorite and leave a note of any input/knowledge you can share for those of us looking to select a product.

Teraflex - looks awesome and I love all their products that I have - it's pricey
https://teraflex.com/shop_items/jl-jlu-hd-forged-adjustable-front-track-bar-w-joint-kit-0-6-lift?vehicle=JLU Wrangler Unlimited

Yeti - Seems well regarded on-site, but also pricey
https://steersmarts.com/products/yeti-xd-jk-track-bar

RockKrawler - Recmonned by my shop, looks nice and price is right, heard parts rust easy
http://rockkrawler.com/rear-adjustable-track-bar/

MetalCloak - Chromoly sounds cool, treated with a protective coating, and their bushing patent sounds cool. Good price.
https://metalcloak.com/durotrak-track-bar-solid-chromoly-front-jl-wrangler.html

Synergy - lots of good feedback, coated
https://www.synergymfg.com/synergy-jeep-jl-hd-adjustable-front-track-bar.html?category_id=4980

Rancho - good feedback on site, good price
http://www.gorancho.com/products/ac...ancho-front-adjustable-track-bar-rs62109.html

Clayton - Good feedback on site, mid-teir pricing, Unique Johhny joint with Giiro Bushing.

Created a poll showing the products, the delivered cost of each. I would love to see you guys vote, as well as leave comments on why you prefer or recommend a product.

I am going to replace the front trackbar, as my JL has the shimmy steering issue, also going to do a fabtech cam bolt kit to increase caster. But now I can't on which trackbar to buy and want advice.

I am really leaning towards the teraflex due to being a fanboy and it can be adjusted on the vehicle, or the metal cloak because Chromoly is light strong less flexible, and it has a vibration-reducing bushing (not sure how well it works or if it's marketing junk).

But ultimately not experienced with any of these and feeling overwhelmed by marketing material, and want to get input from folks who have or have tried these products and can provide feedback.

So I created a poll showing the products, the delivered cost of each. I would love to see you guys vote, as well as leave comments on why you prefer or recommend a product. I am out of build budget, so I really want to save money and fix the issue, not looking for the dream part, just a solid part stops flex/vibration and recenters the axl.

(also if anyone thinks i should add another product to the convo let me know).
Remember Metalcloak needs to grind the axle bracket mount.
Not that I'm against modifying the Jeep, I simply don't have the tools necessary to do it and would be anther investment on top.

Also, their front trackbar installation guide links to their rear track bar guide.. so another point off.

I'm going with the Synergy track bar and track bar brace. Will cost about $450 in total but should really stiffen things up should there be any flex or unintended movements.

Teraflex is also adjustable on the vehicle, but yes Synergy is also a good choice.

I hear a heavier duty trackbar can correct the steering issue for driving down the highway and help minimize steering input to keep the Jeep going straight. Is this true? Can I install a better trackbar than OEM if I don't have any lift or is it only made for Jeeps with a lift?
Is this something that an average guy can install himself? Do I need to get steering adjusted or do alignment after the install?

Thanks

Most aftermarket track bars can be installed on a stock vehicle. As long as it's advertised for vehicles with "0 to X" amount of lift, it will work if you're not lifted. I think all the ones listed so far here in this thread are good for any non lifted Jeep. Install is easy, 2 bolts and your done. Don't even need to raise the Jeep off the ground. May need to have a ratchet strap or another pair of hands around so the Jeep can be moved left or right to align the bolts.

The Steer Smarts tie rod and drag link are amazing but the ridiculously huge adjuster sleeve on the track bar makes it almost impossible to get a steering stabilizer mounted on top of the tie rod where it's out of harms way. My ideal setup is the Rock Krawler track bar with the Yeti drag link and tie rod.

Steersmarts makes good stuff but the one thing I don't like is the cost of replacement parts. Someone like synergy or metalcloak cost a third of Steersmarts.

I went with Yeti for a few reasons. The primary being it was red and pretty and makes my mall crawler look legit AF.

Edit: Haha, OP said "build budget". That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard in like 2 weeks.

First off, I would avoid the cam bolt method of caster adjustment. It's an irreversible process that adds another movable point of possible failure. Adjustable lower control arms would be a much better alternative.

A number of members here and people on YouTube have reported great results in steering feel after adding a frame side track bar bracket. Synergy has one that also dubs as a steering box sector shaft brace and Rustys off road has an option that is just a track bar bracket reinforcement.

My vote would go to a synergy track bar and frame/sector shaft brace combo.

I have a brand new Teraflex track bar if anyone is interested. 0-6" is what is stated in it's literature. Pick up is preferred but would be willing to ship as a last resort
