Well, that's one very lucky girl! All I hear is "Dad, please please please get another Jeep!" They are 12 and 14 and I'm sure my oldest just wants to steal it when she gets her license. I'll get the Jeep, but I am sort of obsessed with getting an orange one, but it has to be the right tone. I loved Mango Tango and was hopeful this would be in the same family. The wait continues...

She is my off-road buddy. When she was a baby, even on gravel roads she would never laugh as hard as when we were bumping around on a trail. We took my Grand Cherokee Trailhawk to Colorado and Moab in July last year and she had a blast. We plan to move to AZ, and are already looking for places we can go.

Well, they updated the builder on the Jeep website last night, and now you can build a punk’n with black interior...

And it gives it a red dash.

Are the three stooges in charge on the website and they “fixed” it only to have it still be wrong? Or do red dashes really come on punk’n and mojito and we were all told silver by mistake?

I noticed that also. Either my build sheet is incorrect or the builder on Jeeps website is. Mine is slated for delivery at anytime and I'm only 3 hours from Toledo, so we'll all find out hopefully by tomorrow.

I certainly don't regret ordering Punk'n, but it's ridiculous how different it is from the (little) marketing material we've seen. We're fortunate to have a great online community but imagine the surprise if a buyer chose this color based on the brochures and Jeep.com website. I mean, seriously, why do they keep on using this color in their marketing material?

Kinda like how Reeses peanut butter cups were discovered. You got nacho in my punk'n! You got punk'n in my nacho!

However, I think that punk'n that looks reddish is most likely a phone camera that is really off in its settings. And maybe that "punk'n" Sahara is just a mistake on the sticker.

I ordered a JLUR Punk'n of course with the tan interior (I am one of the rae people who like it) and want to know what I will get the Red dash or the grey dash. From what I have seen the Sahara is coming with the grey and the Rubicon is coming with the Red dash but with all the early pictures I dont know if this is an order thing or a standard between the two models.

I emailed dealer and he showed me sticker on the vehicle. The color is Nacho not Punk’d. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew since we have seen so many shades of orange lately.

Well, welcome to the somewhat small group of those who the like the tan interior! Nothing much hotter than black leather in the Texas sun. I am looking forward to trying the tan interior myself. I too ordered a Punk'n JLUR with tan. My dealer did some checking and believes it will come with the grey dash..... We shall see I guess....

So far, all of the Rubicon tan interiors come with a sliver/gray dash, and all of the black interiors come with the "red", regardless of exterior color. The Saharas with cloth come with the silver/gray regardless of interior/exterior color, and with the stitched black with the leather.

It will definitely come with the grey dash. There hasn't been any confusion or different opinions there from all the posts i've read as all tan interiors for sport and rubicon are coming with grey dash. This also matches what the online configurator has always shown, I believe, that grey goes with tan. The only change to have come out is around punk'n and the black interior. I believe that has changed for the sport model with black interior to be a grey dash? As of now, it appears the black interior for the rubicon will still get the red dash.

I don't think people should be so concerned though. It is looking like it's a fairly easy fix if you want to change the color of the dash. You can either have it vinyl wrapped or painted to whatever you want for probably less than 200 bucks. What I wish my punk'n JLUR didn't have when it arrives is the red stitching on the seats. I've heard a black fabric pen could do the trick. But when all is said and done...I just want my punk'n to be here now!!!!! :cwl: Because I'm in love with an inanimate object that isn't even here yet!

Is anyone aware of a punk’n Rubicon that is actually in the build process? Mine was ordered on January 26, received D1 status on February 2, and soon thereafter slid back to D, where it remains. Thanks.

Not that I've heard yet. I ordered 2/12 and it hasn't moved from D yet. But I am getting the premium soft top which is in short supply and am told it won't get scheduled until the tops are back in supply. Looking like mid March from what others are saying. Did you order hard top or soft?
